Here is his explanation on the quote.
Hi all. Sorry for some of the confusion here, I wanted to clarify:
Some folks have correctly pointed out that multiplayer wasn't available at the time I wrote this. Sorry to have implied that I actually played the multiplayer -- reading this over, I worded it poorly: the point I was making was the fact that the game allows (purportedly) a large number of players to engage in multiplayer should mean that you can get rid of the AI entirely in multiplayer sessions, and therefore avoid some of the problems involved with AI opponents (although not AI creeps and NPCs and such). I suppose the sentence should have read: "Well, the A.I. problems should be fixed to some degree by the robust multiplayer..." This seems to me to be a logical conclusion from the fact that multiplayer exists at all, and is not a statement that requires actually playing the multiplayer to make. I apologize to those who inferred that I did play the multiplayer for my poor wording -- I screwed that up, mea culpa -- but I am unclear how it materially affects my point.
As for the alert messages: these never appeared in my version of the game (the screenshots here were not taken by me); whether this is due to a bug, a graphical glitch, or a system setting, I don't know. Even if they had appeared, though, there's no tutorial interface or walkthrough that would've clued me in as to where to look or what the symbols would mean.
Thanks for your comments!
Seems reasonable to me.
LOL, no alert messages in his copy lmao, nice try.
Worst review ever, such fail.. now he is trying to patch things up, sick joke.
I dont midn the score he gave the game at all, but his review has some serious flaws.
He says there are not Alerts.. well unless he got a pirated version of the game then I dont understnad this.. Every version of Elelemental I ahve tried.. and everyone had Alert messages.. how can I see them but not him? Something fishy with this review.
If someoen gives the game a F or D- I wouldnt mind, aslong as they actually bring up good points. Saying the game is missing something when its actually in the game if you look for it is silly to me.
