Effect of "Influential" and "Civilized" faction traits or Influence buildings?

After looking a bit into some other factions I wonder at the precise effects of both of the New Pariden traits "Influential" and "Civilized" ... hoping that they are called just that. The tooltips seemed very very nice and so far I have played every longer game with them.

But how do these traits work in ... well ... numbers? I don't see / feel that the Pariden circle of influence expands faster or is bigger from the start. It's just about the same as with the other factions. And "Civilized"? What cost of establishing another settlement? Isn't buidling another city for free after having paid for the pioneer? Or a they SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper for New Pariden?

All in all I find the toopltips on these two abilities a bit vague in contrast to the other ones. Maybe somebody could enlighten me on the actual effects. Maybe I'm just blind, but I don't see / feel any significant effect as with other traits.

Thanks in advance

PS: Talking about Influence in general. How are the corresponding buildings working? I'm certain, its not an immediate increase of say one tile in the radius of the influence circle. So what then? Every other building and its effect is somewhere documented in the city summary. But "influence" is missing. Prestige, yes. But an "influence number" I have yet to find.

I suspect there's a maximum limit on the influence range depending on city size as well as prestige. I'm not sure if the Pariden trait actually affects prestige though; it would make more sense if it did, but I have a niggling feeling that neither trait actually works as intended (if at all) under the current mechanics.

Just checked it starting a new game [1.06] as Capitar and one as Pariden. I can see no point in the "civilized" trait whatsoever. City improvement cost the same and take the same number of turns to build (at least the initial ones). Pioneers are also 10 Gildar each and building a city with them is still for free. So where is the point in being "civilized".

As to "influential" ... couldn't find a difference to a New Pariden game here as well. *sighs* Where is the effect of "area of influence is increased by one tile"? I cannot see or fell one.

Yeah I too did not find the influential trait to actually increase the area of influence. Several of the civilization perks seem to be off to me. For instance, I do not notice more HP for my units when I have the bravery trait (I believe that's the one that should increase HP).

Brave gives you a 5% bonus, I think.

Civilized tooltip says it costs less to establish settlements.  Whenever I establish a settlement, the only thing it costs is the pioneer unit consumed to make it.  None of my global resources decrease by a single one. :/
