[1.01] OOM fast with view all map cheat and started NEXT to an AI

my i7 win7 64bit ati5850 6gb ddr3 2ghz system started a new game on a custom map, found myself NEXT to ai player had to moveseveral tiles away before founding kingdom

then used view all map cheat ram in use was about 220mb.

played approx 60 turns OOM error, same computer different map(mega) no map cheat ~290 turns

Fudge, I'll soon have an almost identical system put together and was hoping that 6GB would delay how soon out of memory occurs.

suspect it is to do with tha ati 5850, have tested in a xp32 geforce 8800gt system & oom was at turn 300, but remember this is the 32bit elemental not the to be released 64bit version

6gb is unlikely to make a difference at the moment elemental.exe is a 32bit executable. So it's limited to 2gig of memory even under 64bit operating systems (unless it was linked with a IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE flag, in which case there's a 4gig limit, but that's not the default).

I guess this is why Frogboy & Friends are eager to get 64bit support.
