[.98] BUG: No spell/arrow animations & sounds; No spells in spellbook

I have had different results in strategic battle mode three times now:

First time: There were no spell animations/sounds, nor arrows

Second time: There were animations

Third time: There were no spells in my spellbook!

I tried taking a screenshot but got only a black screen. What am I doing wrong?

Had you researched any tactical spells?

 

For the screenshots, what method did you use? We recommend using Jing for bug report screenshots since it lets you easily annotate and upload (see the reporting guide for details).

In any case, please provide your debug.err file at least when reporting any issue.

I had almost the same experience - I could see the spells in my spell book but there was no animation for (what I assumed to be) ranged weapons.  Just little numbers flying off my character's heads.

 

Also, it showed the same character card no matter who I clicked on.
