[3B][BUG] Window mode not working

I have unchecked "Use full screen" in the video options and restarted the game but it's still full screen. The box remains unchecked but I can restart again and it's still full screen.

Prior to 3A, there wasn't any problem to have it windowed.

(Fortunately, Jing now works with Elemental full screen while it had to be windowed before so it's not hampering the testing)

I have the same issue...

I previously didn't have to uncheck that box since the /w command line parameter seemed to be the only thing that was necessary....

Maybe it has something to do with the resolution size now, since this is now defaulted to my monitor screen size. Playing with that setting did affect the window size. Maybe a dev can elaborate on how this all works now.

If you have it set to your desktop resolution in windowed mode, the game will run in a borderless full-screen window. While it may look just like fullscreen, you'll find you can alt-tab more readily, use Jing, etc.

It's common feature in many modern games, it's very useful.

But it's a little strange.

As I have a large screen, I'd like to play my game in a somewhat smaller window (or even being able to click+draw to adjust the window's size) so that I could keep my MSN display and my screen-bottom on sight. Yeah, playing shouldn't prevent social networking!

Would it be possible? As a suggestion perhaps?

Just turn down the resolution to the size window you want. Any windowed setting below desktop res will have the normal title bar and borders.
