I have played about 8 tactical battles now...what I feel needs improvement so far:
All enemies seem to have tunnel vision for my sovereign, to the point where they will run all over the map trying to get passed my other units to attack the Sov. It's pretty annoying because the units won't stand and fight I have to chase them everywhere (also I never end up taking damage because I kill them and keep the Sov away)
Which leads me to how clunky the movements feel. The hardest part is clicking where you want your unit to move, it seems very unresponsive based on terrain or camera. Maybe having some kind of chase cam or locked iso cam would be a very useful option. Just something to make the tactical control tight and crisp like in MoM.
It seems like the squares are too big. Maybe this won't be so exaggerated later when we have huge armies but for 1 unit to require such a huge square seems weird and adds to the clunky feeling.
The landscape/scenery seems disproportionate compared to unit size. Houses and the like are smaller than a spear man or spider.
