This may be the intended behavior, but when first starting up Elemental it ran into my outgoing firewall and quit. Just a heads up.
Did you get an error message from your firewall and that's how you knew it was your firewall, or did you just try disabling the firewall after Elemental closed? Did you get an error from Elemental saying that it couldn't download the data files?
