What the title says...
AFAIK shields and armlets both use the forearm slot, so they're mutually exclusive (there was previously a crash when both were used at once).
I see, so this was an intended change. Hopefully it will be changed back eventually [if it won't cause crashes], since it makes no sense that it's not possible to equip armlets and a shield as well.
Yes, Gauntlets and Shields...I would like to be able to have both.

Agreed. Units should be able to use both Armlets and a Shield.

Ditto on thinking wearing gauntlets while holding a shield is not only possible but much more awesome than having to pick one.
Considering how weak armor is vs weapons right now this is a must, not to mention it's just 'cool' =p
