[1Z][Bug/Graphics] Portraits do not work / are mangled

The 3D portraits do not work for me. I have a relatively new setup, pretty much all other games work great.

You can find my DxDiag.txt, debug.err and two screenshots displaying the problem at

The problem persists in game, when sovereign selected the medallion doesn't show anything.

My portaits are there but they are all fuzzy!

I just put in a new video card. A ATI Radeon 5770 HD and Im updated with the current catalyst drivers

I also have the same problem, hopefully this gets fixed soon because it's been around for the last 3 updates.

The temp solution is turning off advanced lighting. The perm solution is on our end, but we probably wont get to it for a few weeks

Thanks!   The suggested work_around restores the image and confirms it's with advanced lighting.

I've been getting a new issue (with advanced lighting off). Didn't see this pre .299. I'm getting what can only be described as "static" and transparent Xs appearing in my animated unit portraits.
