Laptop specs:

Performance was good at the title screen and "normal" for the 8-bit splash screen.
The screens where you choose your faction and enemy choices runs normal. Once the world is created is where it's bad. You can't see the map, just the ui. And from there back out to the main menu is choppy. Not sure if I meet the requirements with this laptop though. Edit: by the way the Nvidia driver I used was Just now downloaded at about 6pm.
Performance on my desktop seems normal except I get a warning about DirectX not working which might just be a windows 7 thing. I think Galciv II does the same thing if I remember correctly. Desktop has: 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo, 4gb RAM, Geforce 280gtx with 1gig RAM, and Windows 7 Release Candidate build 7100.
