Peace Phoenix
In the following save game http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/1z1_sp_display/SP%20display%20problem.EleSav my sovereign generate 1 sp per turn, and I have recruited Myrimahus which is also producing 2 sp per turn. When I hit next turn, the spell point increased correctly by 3. The kingdom report is also correct. BUT the spell point per turn displayed at the bottom of the screen is only 1.
With 50 minimum in every resource I still can't train anything other than peasants, I have no shortages showing for materials.
In elemental, there is is only 2 standard units: peasant and pionner. You must design all others units.
For reasons I don't understand I've been unable to build any huts in my capitol city in two out of three games.
Have you build some garden to have enough food available? (huts require food to be build)
In the following save game http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/quest_pb/Quest%20problem.EleSav (that displays also a problem for completing the rats quest), the city in the south have build a mine. But no global iron resources are displayed, which is really strange and prevents me to build some advanced units. BTW, if you destroy the mine, you are destroying it permanently: the tile become a plain.
In the following save game http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/quest_pb/Quest%20problem.EleSav I have killed the rats and I am near the inn which has given me that quest. When I go to the yellow inn to get my reward, nothing happen
The hardy talent cost 10 point and is supposed to help with HP. When I create a custom sovereign with only the hardy talent, I don't see any difference in HP, contrary to what happen when increasing constitution attributes.
I don't see a way to transfer items from my sovereign to my champions. That is pretty annoying since my sovereign can't equip 2 iron sword and 2 armors. This means that equipement gears found from goddy huts are nearly unsuable if the Sovereign/champion that found it has better gear.
I have recruit a champion. He has the characteristic brilliant which is : increase research in any town the Sovereign is. I think it is a typo since I don't understand how a champion could improve Sovereign capability.
Have you an iron ore near you new city?
I have done the following: - start a game with a sovereign that can do research - set autosave to 1 turn - found a city on your first turn - hit end turn until you have found a tech. choose one tech. - exit game - restart game and load the last autosave - look at your research tree: you will be told that you have already researched one tech but you will have 0 tech completed.
I have found a way to transform forest into plain: select a lumber mill to be build on a forest, then destroy it before the construction has began. The forest is removed and you can't no longer build a lumber mill on this tile. But you can build any other improvement that can be build on a plain. I am not sure that this is really working has intended. I have stumbled on this behavior when trying to change the order in the city build queue by removing items.
When playing with the impulse overaly (SHIFT + TAB) I was that there is an achievement for loading a save game. I don't seem to ba able to unlock this achievement even if I have successfully loaded a savegame.
I have visited a goody hut. I wasn't able at this time to build a city on this spot (action red). After moving one tile, ending turn and going back to that tile, the action to found city was green. I decided to build a city, pay the essence cost and got a CTD. Here is the dxdiag http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/1z_ctd_founding_city/DxDiag.txt the debug.err file <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853
I have tried to use the impulse::reactor overlay (following the tip of using SHIFT + TAB). When playing with setting, I was able to log with My Impulse account. Sadly, when I try to change the skin, I got an immediate CTD.
The road warriors talent doesn't seem to be working: the description says that road should be free but when I build road, I lose money per turn
The iron dagger cost the same point than an iron longsword. Yet it gives one point of attack less. I don't see why I would choose dagger instead of longsword.
so i'm not sure why he couldn't play through with that look instead of the paperish map look for the countryside.
To show what beta testers will experience since there will be only cloth map for beta 1Z
One reason why i love stardock..bought a game on stardock central 3 years ago...can still download it today whenever i want
You are downloading the latest version in that case. Which is different of what is advertised with the extended download service: backup of the version available at your purchase.
You could. In the XML you can pretty much define anything as a resource and make something require it. In Elemental, we won't make swords a resource but modders could implement a very sophisticated economy where armories produced swords and shields and other items that went into the global pool.
I guess modders will also need to teach the AI how to use a such sophisticated economy ;)
They process the order either when Access is given, or when you start downloading the build
In order to download the build, you need to have a valid EWOM serial key associated with your e-mail and that requires to have your order processed ;)
I dont remember whether I ordered the ordinary edition as well a few months ago as there seems to be no way to check from impulse itself.
Well, if you have ordered few month ago (before beta 1G which was near the end of february), you should have a serial key and be able to download beta 1G (don't forget to enable pre-release display) through Impulse You can always contact if you have any question regard
I see that your warrior has 17 movements. That translates in cost and time to build. Since Procipinee doesn't have this kind of movement, what is the point of having such movement if the unit is to be stacked with her?
Lord Relias and Altar’s situation was basically the same except he had more soldiers.
And Lord Relias has a greater attack rating than Procipinee. That point alone would give him an important edge in early fights.
I'm a bit fuzzy on the actual lore / "campaign" behind the game. Is there going to be a story driven single player mode as well as the random maps? If so I strongly suggest hiring a professional writer to help form / write the story as well as fill in the background lore.
Looks like it is already the case : https://forums.elementalgame.com/377219
