No, both of you quit it or you'll spend the rest of the weekend as Visitors. I respect yr authority great Carielf but could not help pointing the following out to Marcathonas. Name one thing the atheists did that

Meglobob's tip of the day:- Will no longer be brought to u every day now. Due to me being very busy at the mo. It will continue, just at a slower pace, ie...when I have time, hopefully I will still get to 100, especially with Dark Avatar and a load of new tips for it. Also a word of warning, v. 1.4 of GC2 and Dark Avatar may make some

Meglobob's tip of the day:- No. 20 It's quality not quantity. On the higher levels, usually the AI's beat u in the colony rush. In a gigantic, abundant abundancies galaxy, u may get 60 worlds, the AI 80 - 100 for example. However the AI will colonise any piece of barely habitable rock, well u if yr clever should be more choose

Meglobob's tip of the day:- No. 19 Is it a scout? No its the latest death fighter... It is a good idea to buy AI's ships, then upgrade them to yr latest warship design, thus giving u an instant, quick military boost. The AI will often sell u scouts, escort and fighters very cheaply for money or tech or whatever, especi

Meglobob's tip of the day:- No. 18 Be a military dynamo. A excellent starting strategy is pick military production(mp) +50, industrialist party mp +20, then research planetary improvements +10mp, space weapons +10mp, space militarization +10 mp. This gives u +100% military production, which means u build ships 2x as fast. U ca

Wow, wow, lots and lots of new stuff. Looks like u r making every planet in the galaxy colonisable , as long as u have the right tech. How many planets r there in a gigantic galaxy, including all 0 PQ ones? Barracks eh...erm, new ground troops, interesting! Planets harder to invade?

Got a bad feeling about this too. I hate it when my fav. game loses some part that I liked, u know like morale buildings, NLC's, space monsters, world destroying starbases, half the farming tech tree, diplomacy/trading options etc, etc... Basically I HATE GAME NERFING! While I am having a rant, anyone who says, "this is too powerful, this unbalance's the game, major exploit (when

Meglobob's tip of the day:- No. 17 Winning yr people's hearts and minds. So u enjoy taxing yr people to death do u? Approval 40% and going down! But the money, wow! How am I going to win that election? Easy do what every politician since the dawn of time has done. Bribe the voters the week before the election! Re

Meglobob's tip of the day:- No. 16 Protect yr resource starbases soldier! So u have built up that economic/military resource starbase, giving u 44% empire wide boost. Now u need to protect it. Avoid putting weapons/defenses on the starbase itself, they r a waste, a dreadnought will still blow the starbase away with ease. Inst

And what about trading starbases. Where can I see it's effect ?, there's no sign of starbase effects in the "Details" screen of the planet where the freighter left from. Under trade routes of course (economy screen), the BC income goes up.

What am I missing/misunderstanding ? Resource starbases effect yr entire empire. So the influence of every planet u own gets 5% increase or whatever. It's very powerful, more so than the effect u were after. To check it, before constructor builds new module check yr influence % on stats & grapths (I think), then check after u built the module.

Meglobob's tip of the day:- No 15 Blitzkrieg or 'lightning war' This is very effective against the AI, because the AI trys to defend every planet in its empire. Essentially u hit very hard at weak points with concentrated force in the form of powerful fleets (with reinforcements) and fast troop transports. U target pri

Well u could install it on the sly, then replace it back to where it's waiting for yr birthday. GC 2 does not need the cd in the drive to play or u could try the demo to get some practice in.

I always press ctrl n if I dont like the starting position, as I recall, aye I did use ctrl n. I think I overwrote the quicksave it was on I never use ctrl n, never had this problem. Read other posts about this happening, strongly think its a ctrl n issue. In metaverse when u press ctrl n, u after go through the entire cust

Not wanting to waste so much time on boring, repettitive work to boost the score. Those games can be very enjoyable u know, its like putting everything u know, have learned playing GC2 for months into practice, like a masters event. Also at the end u get justly rewarded, scorewise. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#
