The best time for cruises isn't even in Spring. The best time for cruises is the first & second week of December. Unless you're talking Alaska--the best time for Alaska is May. The best time for chocolate is February??? Isn't there a certain day that happens in mid-February? I think it happened exactly one month ago today.

Math is fine. It's posting algebraic equations on an internet site that I've given up on. Happy Pi Day, by the way.
Humanity's great advances in technology are all fine and wonderful, just not right after I just bought my brand new computer.
Troops are targetable as they're travelling in H5. However, no doubt in my mind that untargettable is easier to implement.
I'm still waiting for Stardock to show up at South by Southwest. Feel free to stop by anytime.
some ppl just dont have much time to play
Then don't buy the game. Would you buy a set of golf clubs and then pay someone to play golf with them for you? WTF
Paying to buy the game and then paying to have someone play the game for you...that's just retarded.
Well, normally it's "reduce the role of the QA team", and the tools to do that are Unit Test Suites , Continuous Integration or at least Nightly Builds , and often further automated tests.
Let's see: unit test, integration, nightly builds. Who do you think does all thos
That's a very down-to-earthy report. Nice aesthetics, too. Certainly a lot less straining to read than most earnings releases, financial reports, etc. I read from the public companies, which tend to contain a lot of legalese and jargon. Looks like Stardock took my advice on re-releasing Elemental, so as to get a new set of reviews. That makes sense. Once your game gets reviewed, that's your review. That's just how the de facto system works. Th

3. Cease dependence on inspection to achieve quality. Eliminate the need for inspection on a mass basis by building quality into the product in the first place.
Irrelevant for a software company.
"Eliminate the QA team by not coding bugs into the software in the first place." Um...yeah.... How's that working out?
However, I do have some concerns going forward. I think it might be easy to manage a small firm and ensure good quality products. However, with the release of Elemental it seems Stardock is beginning to transition from a small firm, that can be easily managed from the top-down by a single individual, to a much larger bureaucracy.
I don't think that is what's happening. I think Stardock was a one-man show--Brad--who worked crazy hard, and
I don't like the idea of a single MMO at all. Back when I played Ultima Online, they had a virtual monopoly on the market, and they had player-killing. I told them I didn't want to play if they would not offer worlds with no-player-killing option--all the same maps, quests, everything, just no player-killing. Ultima Online told me basically, "screw you, if you don't like player-killing then get yourself a gang of friends to go out and quest with".
If the internet was not shut off, we would be getting word from numerous people on the streets telling us what is REALLY going on. That is the risk the governments think they can't afford. That's what this is all about: propaganda, pure and simple. I've gotten word from someone in Egypt, what is really gong on there is NOTHING like what we're hearing in the media. The media keeps saying "Tahrir Square, Tahirir Square", and that's not even where all th
I like non-profit games that are by-the-people, for-the-people the best.
Crossworlds on special today. The whole KB Platinum Edition on sale for eight bucks. I've been waiting for this one for awhile. Hello Princess Amelie.
I looked at it over the weekend and it didn't compile on Linux. I think it's the SDL libraries. Are the data files necessary to compile? I haven't looked yet to see if I still have my HOMM2 discs.
This is totally cool. So this is done primarily in Visual Studio, I guess? I'm a Linux guy, so I don't know. ...HOMM2 needs to go on Linux, doesn't it? I will take a look over the weekend. I hope I still have any old HOMM2 discs lying around.
My problem with work is that it distracts me from Civ IV.
These org charts don't look all that unusual to me. Only one thing I don't get: Libraries? Under Asset Support?? What kind of libraries are these? The libraries I think of go under Programming Lead.
I still have the original box, disk and manual of Wizardry:Bane of the Cosmic Forge, but it's because I did NOT play it. Since I played all the Wizardry's up till that point, I was going to keep that around until I finished playing it. Turns out I've just been keeping it for 20 years.
Based on those qualifications, I think you should be the next Bachelor on ABC.
Then our panel of 3 judges are going to have to put you through a rigorous interview process. First, we need to see how far you can jump. Second, we need to assess your ability to catch bugs from 4 inches away with your tongue. Third, we will need to reference check all your childhood friends and see if they and you could breathe underwater. After that your resume will be entered in our database and if a match comes up we will surely contact you.
I am looking forward to the day when Frogboy announces he hired the Geico gecko as Stardock's new official spokesman. Or did he hire Stanley?
I should be able to ask it out and date it, without anybody in the restaurant looking at me funny. And the AI should be able to pass my Chemistry exams for me.
Oh and another thing if the game requires you to register then it should ship with a router bundled in.
