I had a Chinese boss once who didn't want to pay my expense report. You want to talk about illegal.... But in China apparently that is perfectly legal. Basically you have to file your expenses his way, kiss his a$$ and stay on his good side until you get your money back. Apparently also they see nothing wrong with discriminating against white people. He had a few things happen to him that...um...helped him realize that in t
Like Civ 4 (which probably hurts the devs feelings slightly), Stormworld has become the Fall From Heaven of FE for me.
I don't see that as hurting the devs' feelings at all. That's the biggest shout-out to the architects you can give--that they made successful mods possible.

The NHL lockout is a classic case of successful organized labor, as far as I'm concerned. The owners were being punks, and the laborers stood up to them. Good for them. If the owners AND laborers are not happy, nobody wins. We saw that. We've got too many owners carrying the attitude of, "no, it doesn't matter whether you are happy or not. The only thing matters is if I am happy." Not true. &n

The Hobbit was such a disappointment. It started well, but the "ending" was not so good. "Ending" in quotes because, of course, they're milking this puppy with a sequel. It was long on cinematics, but short on plot. Besides, the movie I saw was not the Hobbit. it was some other made up story--with a few paragraphs from the novel thrown in. I guess it was nice just to see some new LOTR film--I mean, seeing The Hobbit for the first time

I like Merlin. My biggest thought is, now that it's over, the crowd that likes to watch it can now get the entire series together for free on Netflix, Youtube, Vudu, etc.. Since it's fiction it makes the perfect view-whatever-you-want-on-demand series.

I know what the OP says...which interestingly has no correlation with the rest of the thread. But whatever, to each their own. ADHD is a treatable illness. And isntreal was established in 1948 by *WHO* again? Incredibly ironic how the same zionist shill who just loves his wonderful utopian country with religious freedom for all* is denouncing the very same organization who established isntreal in the first place.
It's spelled "Israel", and no, he isn't.
I prefer "Isntreal" myself. Boo hoo poor Isntreal. Plant yourself in the middle of Arab neighbors and run them out of their homes to build high-rise apartment buildings, and then throw up your hands and say, "Woe is me! I am surrounded by enemies!" Idiots did it to themselves. They get neither my envy nor my sympathy. But oh, Isntreal was founded because of all t

I'm going to say no, it's not the least. Dogs are our family. When a cop can just jump your fence at any time and shoot your family on any pretext whatsoever, that's a problem. As far as I'm concerned, invading your homes and shooting your family is an act of war, I don't care who it is. I think that opinion is shared by a few Boston militia a couple hundred years ago.

The last time I remember Brad really putting his mind to something, Galciv2 came out. I say make a game out of it. In answer to Civilization: make the Fall of Civilization. Overseen by Brad personally. I don't know what genre it would be or how you win, but that's part of what makes it different. I expect it would be a huge hit, since it is so near and dear to people's hearts. Especially in the Detroit a

I guess it's no secret by now that I'm Christian. As far as I'm concerned, morals are morals. They are etched in stone, part of our universe, just like the law of gravity is. It may not always be obvious what they are, but neither is the behavior of a top quark particle. Now, enter gaming: what morals exactly are we talking about? Pirating a commercial game and playing for free against the publisher's wishes I th

It's true: I mean, how can you beat up your local senator because the receiving country is resisting receiving you? You have to beat up the other country's parliament. Well, you can't do that either...you're a foreigner. The only way to make it work is to drive a reciprocity agreement, and now you're trying to drive TWO countries to do something you want. Good luck with that. All skills being equal, naturally an emplo

I'm in the process of becoming a foreign worker right now, and it's a bummer. Not in Australia, but a similar country, and it's the same story, giving significant preferential treatment to local workers and all. And I'm a skilled worker. So I've got a different perspective on things--like you should feel complimented that people want to live in your country, I feel highly discriminated against, maybe we should have a global economy on this one, all

Looks cheaper than a KVM switch. Just slightly.... I won't be able to use it because my multi- setups are Linux or heterogeneous. How much of the networking does it assist with? Can I have an 8-port switch with 8 ethernet cables dangling out...plug stuff in...boom...I can control them all? How much of the Windows networking discovery does one have to know? Can I route through gateways?

That's sad about the horsemeat. In the U.S. we have rogue horse farms, and the law is ambiguous whether it's illegal or not to raise horses for slaughter; and it is illegal to do the butchering in the U.S. or to market the meat. Lots of lobby groups pushing hard to make it all illegal.
Regardless of where you stand on climate change, the numbers probably won’t make an advocate of either side very happy.
Isn't this a bit of a flawed premise? Is there any believer in global warming who would not just LOVE to be wrong? Personally I am extremely concerned for what would happen to this planet if the polar caps melt. We are talking to the tune of being uninhabitable. Some people wil

I've got it hard in that my refrigerator and my back door are too close to each other, and I've got a 2-story house. If he needs to go out in the yard, he goes to the backdoor (which is near the refrigerator) and barks; and I let him out. If he's hungry, he goes to the refrigerator (which is near the back door) and barks. So guess what happens if I think he's had enough treats already but he doesn't think so: he goes to the r

I haven't rented the video sets so don't know the episode names, but I will say it sure would be nice if someone could give me a quick cab ride to the Nexus before I have to go in to work tomorrow.
