Where is Fallen Enchantress half off? I don't see that. I ask because $20 for Elemental + Fallen Enchantress is enough to put me over the edge. But I don't think I will buy just Elemental for $20, unless there's some cool patch I don't know about?
I keep checking this Thread looking for the "April Fool's" post from Brad. The more time that passes the sadder i get.
I asked Gamestop and it is not an April Fool.
When someone knows for sure that oil has peaked, please let me know. I would like to short crude futures.
It's amazing how Brad just gets people to follow him. And if I'm sounding envious, I am. In the original story, here's Brad: "Impulse is starting to make too much money. I don't like that. Let's sell it." He's got his money, he just wants to focus his life on the fun stuff like designing games. And people folllow him! They follow him like a rock band leader, who goes off in whatever art
Remember how long it took for hotels to admit that all your comings and goings into your hotel room were being logged every time you swiped your card? What happened to the good old days when you were given a key? Some hotels still don't admit it to this day, and if you ask, they'll ask why you're asking.
I would love to know how SAMSUNG said they do it to collect customer data about your configuration to assist with technical problems, followed by SAMSUNG claiming it was a technical error.
This same thing happened in 2005 with Dell laptops, where a guy found a hardware keylogger. That was later "found out" to be a hoax. You got first a denial, from Dell, followed by an admittance, followed by another denial after it got through their PR department. With Samsung it looks like it went straight to admitting it, to denial. I think it's time we hacked into the keyboard drivers to spoof a flood of spurious keyboard events. It'
Dude. Obviously I know what's going on. It's my case.
Nor would I give Israeli individuals immunity just because they're Israeli.
Even allies do it to each other. Not too long ago an individual was caught, in the country, gathering data for Israel, sensitive data. Sorry Doc. I'm no anti-Semite. Its a matter of public record. It was reported in all the major papers. Arrested yes. Convicted of spying, no. Sent back home with a slap on the wrist. Anyone else would have been jailed.
The Israelis doing internet espionage don't usually operate out of Israel. They'll oper
Put yourself in the head of the guy who has to actually do the changes: "combat" is not an easy thing to add. I want to muck around with the planet tiles and give the planets more variety and character. I want more asteroids and make them more important. I want to give tiny hulls a fortification bonus in asteroids. It's much easier stuff to implement.
Brad, you've got to win the next game. Brad Stevens--the men's basketball coach at Butler University. Going to the NCAA Final Four!!!! Goin' to Houston, baby!! Oh, you all didn't think.... ? A different Brad...? Go Butler! They're the underdog, and their coach's name is Brad!
I'd just like to see Galciv open sourced. You have an idea, you staff it, you implement it. I personally want to mod the planetary tiles.
Actually there is a place in Washington State (the northwest of the the US)
That's how I tend to view Washington, too: as northwest of the US. Kind of like how Texas is just south of the US. Put in Civ IV terms: "The people of Washington are rightfully asking to join the Canadian empire. Allow to join? (Yes No) ". You gotta watch out for that cul
Would you have a Batman screensaver, by any chance?
24" X 1.5 = 36". 1080 * 1.5 = 1620. You get the same screen, it's just 1.5X bigger, and you sit further away. I don't think the market is flocking to put dual 36" TV's on their office desks, though.
It does not make sense to spend more - unless you check the DPI. Most of those 32 inchers only do 720 DPI, and you want a more than that for a computer (1080 is HD, and 1280 for a computer is minimum).
Then it seems like 36" is where this starts to make more sense. Compensate for the DPI by adding more I. A hypothetical shrink of that 1080 DPI 36" TV down to 24" would get you 1620 DPI. HD 36" are sitting around $550. 24" monitors are around $350.
and a 32" tv that claims to be monitor-capable.
Is this a new trend/no-so-new trend? 32" TV's are the same price (or even cheaper) than the 24" and 27" monitors nowadays. Is it making more sense now to just get a low-end TV rather than a high-end monitor? How do the refresh rates, resolutions, contrast ratios, etc. compare? I assume these TV's are accepting HDMI inputs and you can hook it directly to your video card?</p
I might be full of baloney, I'm not a lawyer. :D What do you call a bunch of lawyers skydiving out of an airplane? Skeet.
You guys are really hurting my feelings. You don't know what I do for a living. I'm going to need your names and contact information.
Even the free market regulates store hours sometimes. All the farmers' markets in my area, you have to open shop at exactly 8am and close at exactly 12pm, to be fair to everybody. And that's even if you're sold out at 10--you still have to remain open until 12. Otherwise people would be trying to open shop at 6am to try & increase sales, and soon they're sold out at 8am. Then everybody else feels the pressure to be there at 6am, and you've pretty much screwed
And we haven't even mentioned the Prophecy storyelements yet. Those are pure gold for those who liked the story in StarCraft. In Utter Darkness especially especially made me immersed.
Utter Darkness was amazing. A chilling prophecy with a sad ending--but it didn't actually happen. It certainly chilled me. I think that's an awesome storyline. And I could identify with it, because I remember the dark feeling I got from the "new" Kerr
Most chips are manufactured in Taiwan, not Japan. However, Taiwanese companies do get raw materials from Japan. I don't think this impact will be that pronounced. Fujitsu fabs some display stuff, and that would get hit. If a tsunami hit Hsinchu, Taiwan, though, it would not be good for us, unless you own a bunch of stock in IBM. 2/3rd's of everything involving silicon comes from there.
Now is probably a good time to buy beachfront property in the North Pacific.
Rebellion is Upon Us
Yes. The American people are fed up. Congress is reckless with their spending, Wisconsin workers aren't treated right, Texas is ready to secede, and we're tired of still being in Iraq and Afghanistan, slavery should be outlawed, southern states have the constitutional right to leave the Union.... ...oh, we're talking about a space game?
