I could care less about extra spells, there is enough of them. Just fix that damn interface. And make endgame at least remotely playable.
Sounds nice but i hope there will be some improvements and new ideas too I think there's a lot of ways to evolve Star Control. For example, Internet multiplayer with an online Metagame.
By internet multiplayer you mean Super Melee? Or Cooperative campaign? Both are nice but i'll prefer cooperative. Something like in Terraria where you can group up, or may split and do your thing on the same map

Interface is retardedly bad. I saw many in the last 20 years, this one is one of the worst. Manual is below average too. No tutorial. Seriously, Civilization I was released 22 years ago and people still make games that are not up to standarts of Civ I. Of coruse it has no playerbase. Strategy games are about making decisions, if this game is THAT user-not-friendly, who will play it?

Now, Stardock’s game studio didn’t run like a normal game studio. That is, there was really no such thing as a producer or a designer. You either coded or you did art. We had titles but they had no real meaning. Design was handled by the person who was implementing an “area” of the game (for example, GalCiv II did not have a visual tactical battle display in its design, the person who was assigned to code “resolution outcome” wrote that)
I think what most Star Control fans are looking for is a new Star Control game where the inspiration comes from Star Control 2. They want a game with fun, adventure and top down ship battles like in Star Control 2 that all play within a fun sci fi universe. Preferably one with Ur-Quan and Spathi and lots of insults.
As a rabid Xcom fan I'm somewhat excited to have come across this project today. As far as I can tell it's attempting to be as close a clone as possible while touching up (but not straying from) the art of the original. For me it looks like Fallen Enchantress is a total conversion mod for Elemental, namely Fall From Heaven 3 (Fall From Heaven light). Considering a disastrous design of Elemental, it's actually a good thing, with the only problem that there is a Fall from Heaven and Master of Mana (Civ 4 total conversions) as it is.

Birthright: Gorgon's Alliance is an old fantasy TBS with some optional RPG elements. It's a computer version of the Birthright setting for Dungeons and Dragons TRPG. Fall from Heaven fantasy TBS mod for Civilization 4 is so good it's worth bying Civilization 4 just because of that mod. It's definitely better than Elemental in that state. It's a nice game but AI sucks, as usual in JRPGs :( I'm kinda unfamiliar with Pokemon rules so i'm not sure.
My thoughts so far? The game shows lots of potential, especially with the mod community, but as it stands right now, I am disappointed. It's bug ridden and unbalanced.
These "big, game-changing, mods" may be too much. If the interest is there, and if a large community develops around the idea, and if some of them know hardcore programming, it could be done. Alternatively, the conversion could follow a tongue-in-cheek "War of Pokemon" theme. The intro screen would explain that pokemon, once used for peaceful purposes by skilled trainers in competition, are now used for war. The game casts you in the role of one pokemon trainer dedicated to

But hay, it does not work like that, Knights should band together and make combined attacks to find the weakness in the armor (if they r in a party) So it would actually be 4d6 vs 15 , then if they roll 6 per Knight and get 24, they will harm the Peasent with the Magical armor. Master of Magic system with a 30% default chance per point of attack/defence was much better, and individual/stack balance worked just fine.

First, rename "Campagin" to "Tutorial/Campaign" so new players will know where to start without checking the manual to know that campaign is actually a tutorial. New players shouldn't be forced to read the manual so to know how to start to learn playing. Second, make that damned thing fun! First mission should show new players the fun parts of the game, like combat, magic, developed cities, powerful artifacts, conquest etc. I spent 10 minutes reading walls of text and looking at my 0/
