I ran my one war horse mounted hero, that had two horse mounted units accompanying her, over a loot square. The loot was a wolf mount. It showed in my inventory. Immediately after picking up this wolf mount, something strange happened to the stack. The interface acted like I had two stacks where ever I moved my hero. When clicking on the arrows to cycle through these two stacks, the name changed on the party but the same units listed. It didn't actually duplicate the units.

I'd almost want an auto-build road function for units. Click it, unit builds roads where ever it walks. Click it again, this turns off.

I'm having random turn never ends and game stops responding problems after some amount of turns. Don't think I'm doing anything in game that causes this so I can't reproduce it. I'll load the autosave and then be able to play more. This problem usually occurs after I've played 5+ turns. It doesn't seem to occur in at the start of a play session or the first couple turns. Tactical battles are more fun. The tactical battle maps are much better and the more interesting weapon mechanics. The hero trait trees are a big improvement. Graphics on the strategic map are slightly nicer. Thanks for the free expansion.

Large map with 8 AI. Challenging level. The AI wasn't picking up loot. Undefended loot! Increased the monster difficulty by one level in this game too. The monster groups aren't attacking the AI but then they also can't take out any of the Strong monster groups. Does the AI prioritize research into increasing city research and production? All of the AI factions have less than half my growth. Seem to be way ahead

I like the details given on Legendary Heroes. All of the core mechanic changes sound good. Don't understand any hate for Steam. So thats good too. I'm hoping that the AI is given more effort in Legendary Heroes.

I had an enemy stack approaching one of my cities and filled it up with 8 slave militias and lastly added a light horse unit as the 9th. That enemy AI attacked the city and my light horse unit never appeared in that combat. 2 city defenders and 8 slave militias participated in the combat and won. I don't think this behavior is intended. Your own caravans can block your units from moving along a road. It would seem reasonable to me to only be blocked by units you are at war with.

One of my starts was on a small peninsula with room for only one city. The exit from the peninsula was blocked by some nasty mob. The generated maps have too many bottlenecks. The special quest areas that are surrounded by mountains take up a lot of room. Doesn't help that when a city gets razed and you can't build there again.

The pictures in the thread are nice but it seems like your talking about replacing all of the games landscape graphics. Perhaps it would be relatively little work to change one or two of the special map areas into plateaus? Instead of so many high mountains surrounding a patch of land. All of the trees are the same type. Add some pine trees?

I'm not sure if the listed outpost enchancements would make the game more or less fun. Once I have my stack of doom created, are these enhanced outposts going to do anything worthwhile? Seems like they will be more free XP for my heroes. I'm noticing that issues reported with the previous beta haven't been addressed. Specifically, the pathing problems and the AI spamming cheap worthless units.

Moving a unit a long distance along a road will cause some fog that should have been uncovered not to be uncovered. Seems to only happen with the very corner of what your unit can uncover.
