Well you can just recruit "Ongr the Unbound" upgrade him to a Company and begin Steamrolling. No problem at all. No seriously, that this is even still possible (...) At a serious note: Henchman are pretty fucking good. The only downside to them is that they cannot learn any "real" Magic like Fire 1, etc... But since you can learn them as a Mage, they can still summon stuff or if you are lucky and get the Mana Bolt skill, the Henchman get it as well. And

I'll agree with DsRaider here. If Alliances would be what they are IRL that would be great. Meaning you would be inclined to get allied with a stronger neighbor to recieve his protection while he and you (as "payment" your puny forces should help him) defeat his other foes. And when there are no other foes there will be no more reason for an alliance (basically), since he can then turn his complete attention towards you. Either by being more friendly and overtake y
Definately agree that there should be more information on the high score. Oh and a "worldwide" high score list should definately be in the game. At least I would like it to be...
Totally agree. I was often tempted to take general talent instead of warlock before. Now i am afraid warlock will be one of usless traits at all, because it benefints only for your sovereign, while armorer, general, warlord boosts all your units and soverin either.
Do not forget Scholar which gives +20% research now.
Removed the Heroes tech
I hope the Henchman tech does work properly? I only ask because it depends upon the Heroes tech.
Steam notifications now popup in the upper left corner instead of over the turn button
So now they are over the Main Menu button? Not exactly better if you ask me. You could access end turn with the "Enter" key and you can access the main menu with "Escape", but that is not making it better, or is it? Can&
Yes I would really like these ideas. It seems reasonable that maybe your first city (which is by default your capitol) is something special.
Yeah that would be neat. Then maybe the shared vision can be a researchable tech and shared research, too. Maybe the possibility to move troops between allies and the automatic status "Allies" for the whole game. That would be neat.
Yes I think so. The AI not declaring war doesn't mean it wont try to defend itself or when in war, send troops to crush your puny little empire :D
This has been reported/discussed before. https://forums.elementalgame.com/442296/page/1/#3341666 Reported that it is indeed the Tower of the Witch and not the Forge itself granting the -9 to all relations. https://forums.elementalgame.com/443114/page/1/#3346248 Another interesting discussion thread. Interesting ideas though that you have there.
I would agree with that idea. Basically as soon as I see a Mercenary camp or Knights of Asok camp up until today, I instantly raze it, just to not be "tempted" by 9g/s units.
FYI i managed to replciate something similiar. Had a sovereign with veteran trait so he would level up at the start of the game. I entered. The backstory (which is bugged too, but thats another story) popped up. I clicked it away, the choose path window came up, i pressed escape, pause menu, entered back into the game, the choose path wasnt available anymore.
I also get ugly graphics, but it is basically the whole world turns lighter and ugly lighter. And the beaches do expand a little into the ocean? Basically letting everything feel overly bright and comically.
Blue : Pariden and Resoln - Had to tell apart, Pariden is a bit lighter, but not noticably much Purple: Capitar, Magnar - Magnar is just a tad darker Orange: Umber, Kraxis - Basically you cannot tell them apart without clicking. This is definately a minor problem. But there are not many colors left to use...
I would like to add that my Ram is filling itself up to 1.4GB for LH alone after just a few hours (normally 1-2,3). When I play a modded HighRes Skyrim it doesn't eat that much of my RAM, so my guess is, that there is definately going something shady on, behind the curtains of the RAM. I am eagerly awaiting the report of you two guys above me.
I would agree with stein here. Being able to null the amount of AI, just to play a nice little rpg from time to time would be really cool. Of course the only victory conditions would be Quest and SoM.
I tend to agree with Xia here. But when I play on Easy the AI always seems to make bad decisions when its absolutely crucial to make the right one. For example they tend to declare war on you yes, but they normally don't know how to handle your superior troops. For them a Strong force vs their Deadly one will lose. For you that's just not the case. You can easily (hence the difficulty) outplay them. You don't need a high power rating to do so. I've won games wh
I tend to agree. Also some traits are really somehow broken now. Muscle and Strength now both give +2 atk, but have different prices 20 and 12 labor cost if i remember correctly.
I've never ever leveled it, since it is so far in the back of the tree. Is it generally worth it?
I would rather not be confused by another order of my city list. At least this way I know where my cities are.
The sovereign backstory is still not fixed. It will always show the Standard version of the backstory aka the "Far in the depths of something "Name" discovered" etc... This was reported earlier here and here . This is just a friendly reminder that this should be a nobrainer to fix in one of the next versions.
You can also take Bax, the Epic Ogre with Curgens Hammer from the Quest of Mastery Victory. He isn't upgradable though. Which is good I guess.
At first you need to add "-cheat" without "" into the launch properties. Then you can use Ctrl+U to reveal and cloak the entire map. Ctrl+M to recieve some Resources (even fame). Well Ctrl+N reloads the entire game and you start anew on a new map, but that's tecnically not cheating.
We are playing a strategy game and some interaction with the ocean by ships or something similiar is really another depth to the game itself. It should be a nobrainer that when there is water and ocean that there are ways to use and interact with it. The only possible way up to today is by ignoring it and raising land bridges, which is not exactly adding anything to the game except "unpassable" terrain. In all of the human history oceans played a big part. And especially in a world fu
Hm that is strange. After building the Outpost I usually build a city improvement next to it to make it connect, but since yours is in the fence it shouldn't matter. Did you build upgrades prior to it being in the fence? I noticed you were using Capitar... I was using Magnar, Yithril and Tarth so far. I'll try it with Capitar myself fast. Edit: It worked on the very first try: <img src="http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/tt359/In
But if we actually had them we could have the map generator generate islands and other exiting stuff and that would be a welcome difference to todays "continental mapmaker".
