This ISn't about discussing how to get AROUND the issue of Monsters ignoring enemy ai in favor of your own. That's the hard lazy route.
Kabanzai
Paid.. by other ai. who haven't met me?
I still think that's abusive when you use elementals though stax.
That was the one thing I really REALLY loved about Elementals: Lords of Magic was that the Ai hated each other the same, if not more than me sometimes.
Exactly as it says. If I play expert or higher, the Ai will refuse to talk peace with me, Declare war as they can. All their mishaps with events, such as released units. .All Rush towards my loction Having all the Ai Hostile is not 'Smarter' especially when they accept a surrender and become a vassal in the same turn because I'm at 234 and they are at 30 strength when they decide to AUTOMATICALLY DECLARE WAR. .. This is more of a vent, less of a bug, and probably a lazy programer design.
Capital city was capture, when recapture, City reads +1 Research. When put under 'Set in stone' The research drops -2.
The ai keeps telling me to take not ethat 'so and so' is a threat to the world, even as they declare war on me one after another for no reason other than the fact the difficulty isn't 'normal' .. even when I'm stronger than they are.
No .. I mean, EVen my units can 'charge into' the mud . It seems to instead of properly workign as 'you can only move 1 square at a time through it' it debuffs those inside it to 1 square movement.
The Ai has this annoying habbit of setting up anywhere and everywhere it wants to. This wouldn't be so bad if the Ai Monsters treated their settlements the same way they treat mine. I've had the enemy setup next to a juggernaught, and that Juggernaught ignores their city unless I conquer it and put a full army within it. Yes. That juggernaught that Should of wiped them out the moment they expanded their teritory right next to the escaped juggernaught encampment. They also tend to run past th
When the stinking mud is activated, units are only allowed to move 1 square per step inside it. However, if the unit is outside it and charges in, they can take up to three steps.
It's become so bad that I have to fight. then 'auto finish' inside the fight, because .. Why would My 'armored golem' take 0 damage when he's frontlines, and it picks off all my archers, usually when you fight. the golem's blocking the archers, right? Does it just put value against value in the map auto rather than types?
When I loaded the game again.. Every turn, they'd jump down to a 'normal' score.. and the big number would multiply even further. .. Now this wouldn't be so bad.. but , it effected politics and .. The enemy was super stupid even. On insane all he did was send scouts and Pioneers after me because of their hps. xD .. Reminds me. I had Pioneers (solo) do 33 damage to a guy.. How the hell does a pioneer damage someone?
I know the title doesn't seem like much till you realize the enemy jumped in score from 1569.. To 16905 Was on insane -edit- Enemy score jumping from 89 to the higher numbers every other turn. second edit .. And then the game froze and crashed. XD
Ugh.. nope. It's changing the colors if they're too similar to another nation. Like my empire with the same hair/skin combo as a Kingdom.. it changed the hair to Golden brown rather than my green.
When I have a bandit style hero animation, they do not activate when using a staff's ranged attack on an enemy. Instead of makes the sound and pauses as if it was going 1x speed then they get hit.
The custom faction of ironeers (empire) declared war on my custom faction ironeers (Kingdom) the turn directly after signing the non aggression pact. -edit- . Also of note is that the one declaring war is the WEAKEST and furthest away from me.
I think I found the problem If I make a faction one set of colors Then change the colors of the leader for that faction The colors of the faction 'reset' to the leaders.
.. ..I'm not so fan of having to run steam client while playing my games, since it seems like it would use up some memory I could use towards the games. Nor am I a fan of the fact all my games require it now.. However, I'm a great fan of how easy it is to get the games distributed to me, the backup of having it rely on the client for my list. Hell, I've bought some games twice just so I can have the steam key activated. The only downside for me right now is that right now, I AM resorting
(stream version win 7) What's happening is, when I create a faction that has colors that are similar to each other as the dark and light clothing color, or specifically 'this hue' it'll change it to a broader color. Or change it to the 'default'
All of a sudden, the neutral party in the war took my hero from my team into his. . .Without any fights. Just after I tamed a lizard next to his town using the captured sovergn. Playing as the oracle. 'hero' was a custom Civ's leader.
This bug is still in effect. It's changing my colors around again. .. White became Grey. Dark red became gold.
Ah... I might do that. Thank you.
Well, it's more of an abusable bug than one I want fixed.. XD .. Since you can only build a pier off another section of the town, if you delete the pier after you build it, and build it on the otherside of the river, you can extend your town across the river. Unfortunately this causes a big glitch with the routing of your troops into your city, as now they won't enter the sides and only enter the center of the city. ==Edit= .. I don't know how to delete this post. Turns out what happens is n
Yeah.. Unfortunately, since that patch is when my faction colors are NOT.. It was working fine before that.
Ohhh.. here's an idea. Beastlord is able to capture basic animals, such as wolves, bears, great wolves. etc. But not spiders skaths or things like that.. UNLESS It's a Faction trait where once captured, you can trade the first one you get into mounts for your troops. =D .. I also still like the idea of making Influence or Gildar a part of Beast upkeep. Have to keep the beasts fed, don't you?
