'Zerging' in RTS as a strategy is usually a terrible idea. Unless you are playing Zerg (still don't recommend). Early attacks is perfectly viable, especially if you have better macro than your opponent and you can build up faster, and they can't manage the damage you're doing. Rushing often ends in a loss if it fails (Rush = All in straight away). The problem with calling armies in FE a 'stack of doom' is that they have a limit. And you need to research to

I beat a strong earth elemental army with city militia and 4 of the default militia units, level 2 town OP ;). Not even defensive trait. City Militia actually seem pretty strong to me, decent amount of health and damage, but they get run over pretty quickly. They get outdated in terms of technology and never catch up which is one of their biggest weaknesses. Guardian Statue seems pretty weak too. The AI doesn't put enough priority in defending early on, and focuses too much on lev
First rebels now this. Community is trying to nerf me. :( "Down with taxes, no more warhorse," they chant. Inhonourable, Sovereign/units doesn't/don't produce faction prestige. Corrupt, -10% Gildar gain.
Lord Xia isn't thinking outside the spellbook. Eat your champions souls, steal their summons... Summon Familiar, SUMMON MORE SUMMONS! :D
Franknfurter's suggestion is good, and it makes choosing between taking spiders/demons or trained units difficult. Mass stone skin, mass haste, mass focus(?) would be very powerful. Specially if you had secondary characters doing buffing or throwing boost spells. What if the mana and heal traits swapped around? Since the mana trait seems to be much preferred. -1 HP/level -> -10-20(%?) Carry weight? They don't wear armour in the default faction so this is no real issue, not

I would be nice if the dragon lord had command of... You know... Dragons? I'm sure with dancing with dragons you could probably attack him with an all dragon army right? (I've never built it so no idea if there is a # cap on dragons) In line with thread title, Waerloga, Chicken Chaser

Glory be to Queen Porcupine, May her quills never be rubbed the wrong way. This is how I saw it when I was skimming over information about the game for the first time. And it stuck given her ridiculous name... Does she have a shortened name or nickname, it doesn't seem right calling her Procie...
"I find myself wishing for a sword sooner in the tech tree in almost every game." Dagger. Unless you want it for athestics. I know I do "The same could be said for short bows." Slings. Probably would do poop damage and not worth the unit production time. I want more throwing weapons. Whats wrong with throwing spears, take some ques from the Indigenous Australians . Sure wooden throwing weapons weren't all that strong, but they were enough to
Capitar could have junk like:- War bounty (Passive), Defeated units yield +5 gildar. (This was going to be a joke but it seems legit) Elite Guard (Situational), +1 Counterattack while defending. +1 Gildar Upkeep if it's OP, but I doubt that seeing that having your whole army defend would leave big units free to slowly rip you apart, as well as spear wielders. Elite Guard could mitigate some damage to adjacent units, or increase their block/dodge. Stomp (
Ugh, what? Strength is a good trait. What about muscle? Strength is good on units with lighter armour, for initiative bonus. NOT having strength would make the units even less unique. And I wouldn't suggest giving it to all units either, there are other options you can take to make sure you have enough carry weight and initiative. Use blood lust instead of precision and produce them from a fort instead. Moot point anyway. 2 allows for less flexibility at the same
I've had a few issues where the graphics die. All the text disappears, graphics tare and randomly stretch on screen. I have no other option but to close the game. Auto-saves are reliable and frequent enough.
What, have them spend all their money on potions and NOT bribing everyone to go to war with me. I wanted more friends [e digicons]:'([/e] .
I've had this happen to me when I won the game using the Spell of Making. I was researching a Refined ______ tech. Had to close the game, load, and change technology target.
Wraith is for a spell caster sovereign/hero focused empire. Make sure you have either fire or death, or both. Water/Death helps of course too (if you've played Resoln you'd know for sure). Have your champions blow mana and deal plenty of initial damage to take out key targets, or weaken the enemy with spells like mass curse. Then have your trained units finish off the targets to replenish mana and health. Pretty good when they have ranged staffs. Having lower HP custom wraith
On this page where it says Home > Fallen Enchantress >, click the second arrow. It's right there. In alphabetical order mind you, so wishlist is on the bottom.
I prefer water to earth. It works to spot debuff a specific target, rather than boost all your units. And it is a more useful tactical spell, since stone skin can be cast strategically too. You only need one earth mage, and if it is that important make it your Sov. Wraith bonus is ok. But +3 Hp per unit is lackluster. Especially when you consider it comes with -1 HP/Level. I know Mancer Blood isn't that great, but it has its uses. So efficient. Lethal is obviously better than Weak, plays
I didn't notice until I saw this thread, but transitioning between turns is a lot smoother.
i want outposts with built in defenders, like in kohan II. i don't like this strange idea of leaving empty fortresses all over the map like a big ghost world, it's creepy.
Build more units then :P. If you look at what the bonuses an outpost gives (the ones you see when you click upgrade), they all boost armies in its ZoC. The outpost is pretty much designed to give players a 5x5 field where they can roam armies and defend l
Just turn the city into an ghost town removed from your faction. Moving a hero on top of it to 'reclaim' it with a small number of population. OR wait to see if Frogboy makes the AI smart enough to avoid sitting on dragons in the upcoming patch.
Lisbeth the Light - random mess of blood/skill perks with slapped weakness on top. Yay.
Never talk smack about Lisbest, EVER. Shes my assassin in my current game. My biggest problem is how intrusive it is, and that I can't see what I've already built in the city (Without judging off the tiles). Edit: I mean in a list form, 'at-a-glance' type thing. Christ-all-mighty that those bandits have silly levels of HP. Volcanoes ASAP! Grand crusade against the mighty wolf army, their hit points may not be as glorious but valor to the Tarth all the same. Wouldn't mind seeing the occasional stat screen for heroes or units you have a surprising break through with.
