But that requires more mana and Air Expert (Where AM is available per faction choice.). And it doesn't leave you with a permanent source of vision or an quick way to return to that land. Though both do have their own bonuses, cloud walk can take you from one side of your territory to the other instantly, preserving movement. The Insta roads from AM could allow you to return to the outpost, or send units who don't have access to cloud walk to this zone (Expanding pioneers or defending

Level 5 conclave options suck so maybe this makes up for it? :P I never use the spell scrolls aside from the occasional quest reward, they're available to all who are willing to use them so they're not 'imbalanced'. Usually they cost more gold then they make me, but when you need the occasional power-shift then they come in handy. Making them weaker would do for me, it's odd that an unskilled hero can read a scroll and cast it as powerful as the mage who wr

Just leave Auto-Turn off, a lot of the things that bother me with auto-turn have to do with the idea of auto-turn itself. I never have these problems since I turned it off after my first game ;). Some times depending on my focus I do things in different order, which might cause a turn end before I'm ready. I don't think the game (or almost any game) is able to correctly identify when the player is 100% completed with his turn. I can understand why the setting would be present

Cosmetic is nice. But it's more fun to design with functionality. Warzone 2100* where you designed units with different chassis/movement types/weapons. Was more fun than if you could build the same tank... Only with different decals (eg. Warhammer Video Games, IRL there would be some gratification to doing it yourself). *Or Mechwarrior as a different example. Since MechLab lets you customize weapons/heat sinks/armour levels.

Maybe these spells are from the Beta? The spell book on my destop says Life/Water is Matle of Oceans (As it is in game for me), "Strategic - Unit Enchantment The mana costs of all tactical spells this unit casts is reduced by 40%." Ad Fire/Life is Glyph of Life, "Strategic - City Enchantment Units defending enchanted city start with regeneration (they heal 1 hit point per turn)." The names you presented seem interchangeable with the

A map pack is a fine DLC, the only problem is that it doesn't add content to the usual game type (random map) people play. Unless, of course, stamps have been included, I have not been following the discussion on the DLC. I have yet to play a pre constructed map (time issues) but I would still consider grabbing the map pack when I've got some money free in my team wallet (convenience). It seems some people what too much too soon. I'm not sure how much production power you

I believe growth is that Cup that looks like the Prestige icon. While it would be a useful tool on the city ledger (a ring around the City/Town/Fort/Conc icon perhaps), The glowing Icons on the left hand side of the main screen does it for me. And I usually plan ahead for the next level of food whenever it levels up. /highjackingthread

Game sucks so much Valentine just wont let it go. Get over it guys, game sucks, confirmed. If everyone agrees he might get some closure. Leave. And we can go back to pretending to like the game without this spoilsport.

Those areas are Wild Lands. It's what the game meant by 'conquering the land' in the opening cinematic. They come in different colours and flavours. They often have a Deadly level Boss which will make the land free for you to expand into.
