What Star Adder means is: this is not really enough information to give you any kind of help. Please - make sure your drivers are up to date - post your PC specs - tell if you have the standalone or the steam version (and probably some more stuff that i'm forgetting)

Problem is they wont talk to you about surrender if they got no cities left. And then you have to scout the whole map for that damn sovereign.
I like the idea for pioneers, there has been a lot of discussion about how to temper early expansion, this might be an option.
The main reason i rarely build non-mounted units though is the overland speed. I'd make a special unit for transportation that you can add to the stack to give foot soldiers more movement overland, but not in combat.
Especially since it uses up move actions as if you would enter...
I see, its just that i don't remember the spit doing damage before..
Since the new update the sound strength of attacking enemies isn't being reduced by any sound setting. My own units attack sounds are reduced. I'm running on windows 7, non-steam version of the game.
I have a sovereign with the trait that gives 100 poson resist, but i still took damage from a spiders poison. This didn't happen in earlier versions as far as i remember.
Well, theres one small difference from what i know: mages ignore armor, archers do not. (And weapon upgrading isn't well done for mages)
seen it with almost everything from time to time
This behaviour is one i really loathe. The AI frees camps, and the player gets punished for it. I don't care so much if they don't get attacked, but they should still avoid the places with settlements and outposts. It's just game-breaking for me if someone sends some shit roaming and it destroys my favorite cities early in the game. Thats not a challenge, its an annoyance.
I like playing with heroes, but after a game without the trait to free recruitment i have to say: I'd rather rush one or 2 unit stacks than buy those heroes for 2.5k ..
If you make a custom Hero you can give him/her +2mana/round from the get-go. Yes, mages have a hard time early on. But especially death mages can be awsome once you get the mana rolling. And yes, i can have my warrior or assassin at 20 faster, but when it comes to clearing out the big stuff you'll usually need supporting units, especially if you haven't found a good weapon (so, while mages are mana dependant, warriors are gear dependant/need unit support). Not to speak
I've been playing a death magic sovereign for a while and noticed that Shadow Bolt doesn't seem to be resisted at all, not even by magic immune creatures. Is that intended?
MY game hangs completely as well when it happens, no saving possible. debug.err ERRORS are usually about stuff that wasn't found, but that doesn't coincide with the crashes. Generally theres a lot of warnings about "leaked" stuff in there lately, whatever that means.
That caravans and sometimes pioneers are left over when conquering a civilization is known. I never had armies disappear. You might want to post a save game.
Alternatively, i think sorting the cities so those without orders come first (and then sort by how fast anything completes the next task) would be neat as well. I don't know which city i built in which order anyway.
Sometimes, when attacking a monster guarding a treasure tile, the army will move onto the tile after the fight, but not collect the treasure (you have to move out and in again) At this point though, i would make a suggestion to always do that (move onto defeated armys tile, but also activating any treasure or quests there) It would make the master scouts trait a little less powerful, and it's sensible anyway.
I realised that i sometimes lose all movement on the overland map when i was webbed during a battle, is that supposed to happen?
Just encountered a lost library i cannot move unto. Not sure if the terrain will change when the wildlands is removed, but its a little strange anyway. Save can be found here, location at my sovereign: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwdcbwGbXYwdZndLUWlBaUJsdHM/edit
(the save i posted for the shadow world spell had one too i think, right above the capital)
I'm not using mods and experienced the same thing. Well, i took a look at the Race editor thingy, but didn't actually do anything with it, and mods are disabled anyway.
Tested Gambling Strike and it still misses.
Just finsihed the quest to get Haitan his staff, he joined, and now i'm at -48 gildar (i had 10-ish before). I don't think that's supposed to happen. edit: Actually.. i remember getting a popup for a treaty in between somewhere that i didn't read (i just wanted to click okay on the quest stuff and it popped up in between). Might have been a stronger AI demanding money beforehand. I should have put that one up among the top 5
Just got said spell through a quest, but i can't use it. The pointer tells me it "can't be cast on ". The spell description says nothing about terrain restrictions, so.. a bug? Or how am i supposed to use this one? Save with spell available: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwdcbwGbXYwdN1VPQXpLQlViNGs/edit
