I wish everyone at Stardock all the very best of luck and that sales do a big rocket on you. It might be a little early, but sometimes you just have to go for it, otherwise we could still be here this time next year. As I have said in previous posts, I am really starting to feel the game and with the right sort of handling at release, it could be a block buster. It has been my pleasure to be a beta tester, and in some ways I will miss

I just had to pop in and give the dev's a pat on the back for all the great work they are doing with this game. With every release the game just keeps on getting better. I am really feeling the game now and it's fantastic. I can see how EFE is going to eat up a lot of my time in the future and very few jobs will get done. Fo

I expect that it does help if you were a fan of the classic. The enemy carrier is very hard to find and kill at first, unless you are very lucky. It's taking the islands and protecting your own that holds the most fun for me.

The walrus is stupid and most times cannot cross a bridge. They have just made a statement that they are working on it. Mostly I don't notice it, If they go walk-about, I jump in the driving seat and sort them out. The enemy AI can be wicked, the AI of your own units is not so hot, but good enough. The controls are fine, I find no problems there, and the way it's designed you can access every thing from your mouse. Even with it

Being a fan of the Carrier Command of days gone by, I bought this. http://www.carriercommand.com/ At first I was disappointed because it seemed like they had transformed it in to a fps shooter, but that bit soon ended and the real game began. I am very impressed, in fact I am hooked as I was with the original. The game play is spot on and the carrier, manta and walrus graphics and&nbs

Saying that, I didn't like the first Beta 4 until they spiffed it up some-what. :D On that note, the final version of beta 5 may be absolutely amazing.

It holds no challenge, you are a triple ace gamer with nerves of steal and the reactions of a flash back water viper. :D
I have started getting crashes in tactical combat, and have reported them. Apart from that I mostly like 0952. The biggest problem now is that the world is too tame for me. There is no risk to expansion anymore. You dont have to fight the wild to expand, just slap some mites and wolves.
For once, playing on 'beginner' difficulty, really feels like a beginners difficulty, so I am very pleased abo
It still suffers from the "bloated database" syndrome.. let the game run long enough (a large epic game for example, forget about getting that done even halfway through, or even a medium epic game).. it just keels over and dies at some point (program stops responding). But yes, it is quite entertaining to play now
Bloated database or memory leak, I remember GalCiv II being plagued&nbs
