That's right. But you can get in the situation were those 2 stacks are separate. clicking the hex brings up only one of those stacks or units. To have those units rejoin is were the problem comes in.
Tattyhat
If you select 'scale units when zooming' and then unselect it, the units carry on scaling. Also the mouse cursor starts to act strange when I do this.

Thanks for the new EFE wallpapers, they are really cool. I have them rotating on my desktop as we speak. [e digicons]B)[/e] I love the artwork, which is the same as the artwork in the game. Does it have a name?
I love the game as well as being part of the beta process, I also love this patch, Stardock and Turkish delight.
Thanks for the advice, I could do with it. I am on my 3rd game after getting slaughtered on my first two.
The release date is firmly set at whenever the hell it is ready.
And that is just what we want, yes? This game is to good to rush, it has all the makings of a classic. It is very, very addictive.
and it's only a beta........madness. ...and month away from release. Real madness.
I didn't know that it had a release date as yet. I do know that one of the reasons that the last one was fail, is that it was released before it was ready.
I have only had it a day and I am completely hooked. One of the best games I have ever played, and it's only a beta........madness. :)
Thanks for the answer to no1, I will be on the look out for these vials. Is there any sort of manual? Usually you have a forum FAQ for common questions like this. There has to be some sort of hotkey or something to allow you to leave and rejoin a stack within the same hex, surly something so simple could,'t have been over looked.
A giant frog with orange eyes. ;) Please, NO bright vivid colours, I love the dark and forbidding look of EFE.
How do I get rid of negative traits such as cracked skull? How do I have my champion rejoin a stack without moving it of the hex and back? Thank you.
Prevailing technical problems - The game slows and slows and slows until it grinds to a crippled state. And no, I don't have an old/poorly maintained computer. Core i5-750 at 3,2 GHz, 8 GB of RAM at 1333, GeForce 560Ti, all with latest drivers and patches, should work okay. Hell, I can even run Dwarf Fortress!!! Wanted to alt-tab to see how much memory the main process needs and the game froze on me. Memory leak strongly suspected. [/quot
In the tutorial video 'recruit champion' selecting to watch, has the same video pop up again. Trying to cancel one of these videos usually causes black screen. All-so, I had lot of lock ups while playing the tutorial, let's hope the game fairs better.
Bought it anyway, couldn't resist. I have to say I am well impressed, and so far, I have only played the tutorial. :) The look, feel and atmosphere of the game are really amazing. Looks like it was money well spent.
Decided to bite the bullet and pre-order, I am really hoping that Stardock have got it right this time. In fact I am gambling my money on it. If they don't deliver the goods this time, the name Stardock is really going to be mud. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Well I figure if StarDock felt they needed more beta people, they would lower the price, or give away some beta space for free to lure customers in, I think they know what they are doing
I don't think that they necessarily needed beta testers, a game is never short of volunteers for this job. More like the beta support, is to help fund the project while gaining players and fans that might&n
I can't really see Stardock complaining if they had a few million more, can you? :D
If Stardock want to encourage more support then they should drop the price of beta support. They could give 2 options. 1- Pay full price and get access to the beta, plus full game on release, a badge next to your name, and a load of digital junk. 2- Reduced price will get you beta support and the full game on release. This must be the first time Stardock has done this beta support thing, because they don't seem to know how it is done. ;)
