Been with the insider program for some time now, and personally I think development is going backwards. I won't be pressing that little windows icon on the 29th. I am going to play safe and see what happens.
Tattyhat
Had it since early beta and don't like it. It's boring, and extremely clunky. Every action is laborious, and don't get me started on interdiction, what a load of old cobblers that is. Looks nice though.
Howdy, just wanted to ask a few questions to see if SK would be something I would enjoy. Just some background info, I did have Elemental which I thought was good, but never ran well on my machine (crashes, low FPS later in game, etc) and hoenstly I am not a huge fan of 4X anyways. FE was a better experience but I enjoyed the RPG aspect of it over the 4X gameplay. Anyways, some questions: 1. Has the performance been improved since t
Besides Mr Frog, the world is not ready for SK just yet.
EA from day one. A bug free polished release is a successful release, and that is just what you need when dealing with steam. Unless you cannot afford to pay the electricity bill then take your time.
Star control, Slylandro ducks, this post is very confusing. What is the topic?
I want to play this star control, it sounds good.
My suggestions: Get rid off city's along with their management, and have castles and strongholds that add attack and defense. Somewhere to go when chased by a Superior force. Get rid of wandering monster, keep them to random lairs, and instead have wandering opposing forces units out looking for you, or anyone not conforming. <span style="font-
Yes, it has to be said that SK towers over FE_LH, casting a great shadow. I would say it's around 10 times more fun to play and it's still in beta. :)
Me like big lots.
1. What specific features of diplomacy do you traditionally like the most? I want you to be as specific as you can be. Which parts of diplomacy from any game do you like the most? What parts do you remember long after playing the most? (A) - Diplomacy is BS in any game, they either love or hate you depending on if you are good or evil. 2. Looking back, how many turns do your favorite games last? This is important to know the specific number of turns the game in Question lasted
There was a time when I bought up EA games like they were smarties, but now I am very careful with buying EA games, wanting assurance that the game will in fact reach it's conclusion.
Great game, I have been playing it for some time now and am really enjoying it. Just goes to show you don't need a mega production team and five million trillion dollars to make a good game, just the right idea.
I bought myself GC3 for half price, and that makes me very happy. [e digicons]:D[/e] Thank you. My face feels soft and pretty, not a slap mark anywhere to be seen.
Only one game as yet and that is................ BLACKGUARDS 2. Yeah!!!
I also bought a couple of other games, and I havent tried this game more than 5 minutes yet. Rebuild 3 got my attention. Though still in early access, it got me totally hooked last night. Highly recommended.
That's exactly what happen'd to me. I got hooked. What ever I might say for, or against the game, there is no doubt it has the ability to hook you and not let go. :)
Let me know what you think. ;)
Seeing how it's Christmas I thought I would give you guys a present in the form of a heads up on a really good old school type game. I have been playing it for a few days now and can't put it down. It's cheap atm, give it a go, I think you will like it. ;) http://store.steampowered.com/app/296570
My mistake. Should read what op said in full. :) I love's my classic shell, it does everything I want and it's freeeeeeee.
Stardrive 2 is already much, much better than SD1. Trust me.
What about these allegations that this Zero being a con merchant, any truth in them Wolfie, or just hot air? I know he has locked to forums to none game owners. That's a bit shady. [e digicons]:borg:[/e]
I have just remembered something that Frog said about some things that you do will get you noticed by the SK, and the whole idea is not to get noticed until you are ready. So the reason for it maybe something along those lines.
Quoting Tattyhat, reply 4 Okay, so let me get this right. If I get myself a shiny sword or find treasure the DC goes up? Some quests feature choices that increase the doom counter.
First impression would suggest that i
I got the Gal Civ III beta and it's quite fun. Obviously it is missing a lot of features (diplomacy is quite rudimentary, not all the races are playable or as opponents and not all the victory conditions are enabled) but I found it quite an entertaining little 4X game. I didn't play much Gal Civ II so I can't really compare the two. Definitely think Gal Civ III has the potential to be an excellent game, though. [/quote
I just done a experiment. I started a new game of LH and kept two city's at 0% unrest far into the game without killing the populous. It was quite interesting this time around, but I can't see it being very interesting or fun in future games. It's just something you HAVE to do if you want to carry on killing stuff. :) Anyone here playing Galactic civ 3 and can recommend buying it yet? I like Galactic civ 2 and was just wonderin
