Never seen for no reason empty lairs. But started seeing a lot of lairs in 0.98, particularly in wildlands where the guardians decided there was no need to stand around and guard the lair, so they would go on a rampage and kill the world instead. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Quoting Frogboy, reply 6I doubt you'll get the first two in a free update. That stuff is expensive. The latter is something I'm interested in. Though, we may have to make a tough choice on where to put scarce resources: Modding or multiplayer. 1. multiplayer 2a. modding 2b. sea travel Please
Am I the only 1 not caring for sea trave
When I hit Alt-Tab, the Taskbar comes up nice and quickly, but no matter what I do, I can't get any other windows to show. It seems that Fallen Enchantress is stuck in some sort of "always on top" mode. This is unacceptable on a modern, multitasking system. Running Windows 7 Professional, and the 0.980 build of Fallen Enchantress. If anyone wants to see how a modern fullscreen game *should* behave when alt-tabbed, check out Orcs Must Die
Hm some of these bug reports makes me feel I play with blindfolds on, I never noticed, gotta pay attention to this xD Hope they put in more spell graphics soon :P Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I believe overpowered traits are fine, they just should cost 2-3 design points (standard races can get then with no concern for cost)
No, just no. I wish to see all the faction picks being balanced, not by cost and then the pre-made factions just cheat, I just hope pre-made factions will be worth they're grain, and I can make a similar custom faction. Besides I personally hope each faction gets 1-2 more abilities,
thank you.
No problem :)
Nerfing heroes will achieve that, yes. But then what? you spend 10 hours faffing about doing nothing trying to get something that can actually do war effectively? What else is there for a player except their cities, heroes, and units? Tech falls under cities and magic helps all 3.
1: I know, nerfing heroes is not enough, but nerfing heroes and boosting production times off trained units would help tremendously so
Sean, I think it might help reducing the amount of % gain and meaby use another variable, you could either use a lower percentage, or you could use raw shard power. Or make spell mastery more important on damage spells, and the hunt for spell mastery more important too. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I'm not so sure about that... If you have the right city I think you could turtle pretty well... my current game 95% of my resource/production comes from 2 cities (out of 8 or 9) with those 2 cities and a research facility right now I could trump every other AI empire on the map.
It is not a question about when you can trump the AI... because the AI still needs work, it is a question about whether you were better off
2.) I have MoM on my computer right now. I am not mis-informed. You get less picks as a custom archmage than a pre-made one. If you don't believe me then download dosbox, get a copy of MoM and see for yourself.
Was thinking about this complete off-topic thing, so decided to open up MoM, seemingly I can re-create all the archmages at my disposal, my attempts where with around 50% of the arch
Saw this weird thing when reading a quest location thingie Completely reproducible, also note that the name of the location is too long to show at the bottom left (Doesn't look nice) Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Can we have the skin for "Tall Boots" and similar skin modified, they doesn't really look pleasing to the eye since they remove clothing from the thigh area, this is especially important when designing a sovereign or units that is heavily faction coloured. These boot-types are well hidden but the faction of "Urxen", the females only have access to these tall-ugly boots. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I think it works the way it is. If they're 3 cities and 100 points behind, why make me march my army over there? It's a good end of game mechanism to simplify mopping up.
Because the point system is flawed, so I think they should be physically threatened by you before surrendering, not just whimping around surrendering at a whim, I might just have had bad experience with it though, just makes it feel cheesy winni
I really hope quests become redoable, it might not be realistic, but will be much nicer to play through in the game, or hell just spawn new ones from time to time and let all the really difficult ones be gone for the first half of the game. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Bump, I think the trait list is practically the same, but really wanted to see some of these traits be worth my time :S Sincerely ~ Kongdej

Agreed, spell scaling is going into stupid ends (Not watching the vid, just tried myself). Sincerely ~ Kongdej
No. It does not. I would rather see "Steal Spirit" as Death only, and "Paragon" as Life only.
Sad part is paragon is much better :S Sincerely ~ Kongdej

It's amazing how something that seems unrelated can affect another thing.
I can understand, having talked with some people designing websites sometimes the tinor metails will mess up the whole site. They should not be able at all to construct cities in your territory. In my opinion anyways. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Quoting Napean, reply 2@Gaunathor - After reading your post, I do remember early game Magnar had meditation on this city as well. Using Meditation is currently the only way to get the proper amount of Mana from those buildings. Without it, you don't get anything for the base amount of Essence.
Oh thats why I haven't noticed it :D On high essence city I usually have meditation and inspiration running.
I really think they should at least have 1 fight and a little hazzle, meaby a chance to see your army approach the gates before accepting surrender. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Agreed Sratner, its quite confusing to see. The counter-attack info should only show if you are about to be subject to a counter-attack. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Its even sillier on expert, so I agree with all monster should gain some splash of the experience. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
