I like the Wildlands right now, though I need them to be a little more consistent, and instead of monsters leaving they're spots from in there there should come minions out to play (I think its pointless that the boss wonders in your general direction after you took a look inside...) I do like them, and with some excercise and some custom sovereign (and some luck in map generation) I can into the wildlands at turn ~ 100. Sincerely ~ Kongdej

But they should start out pretty ordinary.
Funny, I would rather see them in a "leadership" position, so it weren't so beneficial to bup them together lategame. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Picked up an Air Elemental Scroll and looked at it through the equip screen. The tooltip says "The page flutters and attempts to leap >form form probably should be "from" Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Brad: Your first and biggest mistake with the Elemental series was to give so much weight in decision making to the forum community. These basement-dwelling trolls will never be happy. Never. Ever. Taking these fans too seriously is usually a mistake. Although they tend to be louder than the rest of the fanbase combined, they are usually a decided minority in almost every fandom (though they often cl
The endless turns by negative imitative can be "avoided" by clicking the quick-fast-auto calculate, somehow it doesn't use the fact that someone have endless turns for a fact in the combat to calculate who wins ^_^. Mostly saying in-case you like me at mistake casts a slow for -14 initiative on an enemy's swordsman. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
yes, change the resolution in the video options (no windowed mode button needed, just need to change the resolution)... I had to ask the same question xD... Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Lord Markin just did the same thing. However, he isn’t using stone skin. Opinion: Stone skin should be a “gotta have” for the sovereign. Let’s look at the code… Ok, this is where “strategy” comes into play in AI writing. The code is very conservative about casting spells with regards to mana. So at the start of the game, it doesn’t cast a lot of spells even though, IMO, it should cast some spe
Actually summons were fairly weak compared to Heroes in MOM unless you got them early. But still fun and useful in some cases.
Not weak compared to the first few heroes, mostly because within turn 40 you can handle upkeeping around 5 sprites or hellhounds In Elemental I have to wait to turn 40 to upkeep a simple militia... I think it is less aggressive against me because seemingly its way easier to level my sovereign, and he counts like a big shift in power after 10-13 levels into the game, and they know I will have something to defend myself with... Just speculating, I know they don't dare touch me after I get a lvl 30 ish sovereign. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I'm wondering if it's a specific driver / ATI card issue. I've never seen anything like this and it's going to be something really hard to "fix" since it's some sort of weird hardware specific issue. I have an ATI card btw. So it may be a specific version of the driver or a tweak that someone's made to the catalyst control center.
To mess it all up a bit, I see it less in 0.91 :P...

Works with all Sovereigns. Well dunno if you can build on Drake or Ophidian camps if you have a snake friend faction (dunno the name) actually :P. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I miss the summoning game from MoM... :D Sincerely ~ Kongdej
What I see is "Moar magic" and make magic more personal to each different sovereign...? (meaby letting them start on level 3 magic or so?) Also making "proper" summons and magical aura's that is clearly visual would be nice. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I was just thinking about some of the trouble w/ balancing E:FE, and computer games in general. With traditional board games, tables of various values are provided. Tables permit easy modeling of non-continuous relationships, which permits more robust balance-ability. Modeling game quantities directly on well-behaved, continuous functions would tend to produce well-behaved, regularly scaling (be it linear or exponential) effects. Sure, more
Magnar has a rather broken ability tI'm a little surprised I couldn't find any previous mention of this problem, as cheap pioneers was the first thing I thought of when I started a Magnar game (but not that cheap).
