At the very least, I hate going into the units directory and finding ALL the units I've made in the same spot. Why can't they be in subdirectories, arranged by the faction that they play for ??? It would make for a much easier time to sort through and delete the ones you don't want or don't want the AI to play with...

I do know that the rarity of other world resources is set much higher than 50 or 100. Iron Ore for example is 300. Other things like the Temple Ruins is at 450 (I think). Perhaps it is working correctly, but you are just looking at rarity the wrong way? (or perhaps I am...)

Great discussion going on. I'll quote coyote303 here cause out of all the posts, this one seems to be the antithesis for my suggestion:
If you're suggesting this as a mod or an option, okay. Otherwise, an expanding wildlands that would convert my cities? No thank you! In fact, I approve the recent change in 1.2 that limits wildlands monsters from attacking my cities.* The above suggestion is a step in the wrong directio

Fair enough. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and comments. Maybe I was just getting a little too 'civ' with it...
Here the stronger you get the more cowardly the AI becomes.
Indeed. It does feel quite backwards. You get ahead and you are able to steamroll as a result. At the very least, the remaining factions of the opposing alignment (kingdom/empire) should consider working together to bring you down.

The young version gets both of these new weapons. The iru servant upgrades to the longsword. Finally the ancient uses the equipment as per usual. Thus, it is an upgrade from each entity with damage and such, I'm curious on how these play late game.
[e digicons]k1[/e] playing with the You

Good Morning Ceresa has been sitting on that tile for about 40 turns now. She doesn't attack the wolves, nor does she move away and do other more important things. This particular game would have been challenging for me as Ceresa was doubling me in faction power and applying pressure on my southern border....but now that's she's stopped playing the game....well, I've soared past. http

Good Morning At the moment in LH, it is entirely abusive to market yourself out to other factions and see who is willing to pay the most for you to declare a war against another faction. As I said...abusive. I don't mind it at all that another faction approaches me with an offer to declare war on a third party...and is willing to share an incentive to do so. Nothing wrong with that at all. Just that in the diplomacy screens, you should NEVER be able to net pr

Good Morning One aspect of this game that I have always felt lacking was the pittence of XP you received from defeating AI units and armies. Don't have much to offer here as the system that would be created would be a difficult task indeed, but perhaps a few rules of thumb could be implemented to help out: When an opponent hero is involved in the combat, grant double XP? When an opponent sovereign is involved in the combat, grant triple XP?</

Good Morning Started a really good game on a medium map with seven other factions. Season 63 comes along and I come across Yithral....who has NOT started the game. He's just sitting there! Yithral was the seventh faction I added to the opponents list. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ydxg99ffqprt0zv/Yithral%20Does%20Not%20Start%20Game%2001.jpg <a href

Have been running on medium maps. Wow. What a difference! No longer can I expect to know when the edge of the world cometh... I am curious: Is there a way for it to be coded in such that player 1 always starts near the middle of a map ??

Another update: I just don't get why there is so MUCH metal to be had in this game... Decided to play Gilden and really pushed metal consumption in everything I did. STILL was swimming in it. So....I'm taking it another step further. In addition to the changes already made, I'm reducing the amount the Iron Mine, Smelter, and Foundry output. Complete list of changes is as follows: Added a 5 metal production cost to the Smelter Improvemen

I'll admit, I used to be a strong advocate for the hero xp split. I'll underline used to be as I get mocked from the rest of the community who knew my posts. [e digicons][/e] As it turns out, with heroes being the power level that they now are, it would do them some good to remove the xp split or reduce the impact of the xp split in order to make some hero combinations a more viable option. Good Morning lolz. I'm on a black screen. Nice try with hiding those spoilers. ;) but that's okay. I was going to look anyways.
