[quote who="ntino" reply="58" id="3270110"] To those who reply with saying that the post is too long and they didn't read it? why would you even reply, just move on to read other posts. Its equivalent to spitting in the face of the person that took the time to write/express his opinions(and while i don't get offended its certainly not the nice thing to do). Derek and Brad, This is an awesome patch changelog - it fixes almost 100% of the issues remaining with the core game, and (if everything works as noted) will help immensely! Could I ask, however, that in order to sweeten the waiting time and make us drool even more you add a little more new content (perhaps a new armor, a couple of new summon spells, or some more quests)? I know it's not as important, and that we can mod these things in, but th
The fix is simple - you need to add the 1 entry for tilda herbs in the CoreItems.xml file...

You do realize that the majority of the people buying a game like this may never get past the 5-10 game mark, let alone 20? The value of a criticism from someone that's played 2 games is as valuable as someo

My man, I think you are losing credibility fast... If your purpose is to enjoy dynasties in your game, read reply #32 and just do that - it takes 3 seconds. If your purpose is to troll about the game, then you are 100% on target... There are many things I would also like changed in the game (balance issues, the ability to snake cities to rivers and build piers etc.) but I spent the time, found the fix, and implemented it...
Derek can you confirm that you have this fixed? I have not seen it in the bugfix lists so far ...
I also think that militia should have a disadvantage over regular armies, and that the player (and the AI) should should have to plan allocating troops to defend their cities. Adding more defenders is one thing, since as a city grows so does the population, but arming them and armoring them seems like giving everyone free armies. If cities were magically endowed with defenders that were capable of winning anything but a skirmish, then a critical part of the strategy (def
I think pathing (with multiple waypoints, double-clicking etc.) will probably be saved for an expansion or post-release patch...
Brad, Derek and the rest of the Stardock team, As the final release approaches, I would like to extend a note of appreciation to all of you for something competely unrelated to the quality and polish of the final game: Throughout the beta process, you have made us beta-testers feel completely integrated with the development team - contributing with our bug reports, arguing over design details (sometimes even convincing Derek to change his view), and of course agonizing on
Also, as we are 7 days from release, please try to avoid cluttering the forums with general, unspecific questions and suggestions that belong to a period 3-4 months ago...
Bumping for Derek's attention - this was supposed to be fixed in 0.99, but apparently was not ...
The bug still persists in 0.99 :)
Derek will there be a next patch (I hope so !!!!) or will the game go directly to gold? The renaming of the current patch to 0.99 confused us and there are still a few bugs to report ...
[quote who="Trojasmic" reply="12" id="3250753"]I disagree that traits have to come as if a champion was leveled up starting from level 1. In fact, I don't want it that way. I want these heroes to be unique. I want them to have combinations that you can't get any other way (i.e. Path of the Mage + Lore II, Path of the Mage + Path of the Warrior.). Their starting values should all be different. Some dude may not have as many traits as his level would dictat
[quote who="seanw3" reply="7" id="3250747"]It's a poor design mechanic that would lead to players always choosing one type of shard for all shards. Since power would stack to extreme levels, there would be no reason to do anything else. Since fire magic is the best damage element, all players would need to choose this to compete. Thus all shards would be fire and all players would be fire mages. Now, you could rebalance the entire game so that each element has about the s

They aren't going to go through them just because of a 1-minute forum post. Be specific. WHO has traits that doesn't make sense? I've been following at a distance lately and I have to say these two "upgrades" (which are more important than some people think, I believe) give good reason to hope for the future of the franchise. It seems right now we might expect a really solid game with two areas that will still need some work: -Tactical battles (most agree th

I hope I'm not the only one with this problem :)
This is exactly like the bug I mentioned in my post... I hope they fix this :)
I am one of the people (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) who changes their land-grabbing strategy based on the type of shard :) Specifically, I play a custom faction with enchanter capability, and I will definately make an effort to grab all the fire shards that I see, so I can use flame dart to its full potential and be able to defeat some of the strong monsters out there with my fire mage sovereign... At least in the beginning, I may very well ignore a well-p
