Not sure if this was addressed anywhere yet, but is there any chance we'll ever see a much-needed pre-battle formation mode (in either 1.19 or later). In other words, immediately when the combat-map comes up (before the first turn begins), you can position your units strategically ala many other TBS games. IF you have to be on Facebook, the most important way to protect yourself is to NEVER place anything credit card-related or any other information possible involving money transactions of any kind. I'm glad you pointed this out. I thought I was the only one having this problem (happened twice), specifically only since patching to 1.11. Auto-explore wasn't the issue for me. What worked for me, was to skip a turn (or two) with the units that are "stuck", and then try pointing the "x" in a new direction, and (after a bit of trial and error) this seemed to free them for me. Yes... I can't help but feel this thread is the proverbial street corner with a demanding homeless bum. And much like a bum begging for money, I'd freely dish out some karma if he gave some sort of creative/amusing reason as to why. Definitely delete some porn... defrag... consider getting an external hard drive... etc. I don't see this game taking nearly 6 gigs for anyone (mine only takes up about 2.5 gigs INCLUDING mods), but it's a reasonable suggestion to recommend reserving some extra room to be safe.

Yep, creating your own factions is the way to go. Also, I prefer further editing my factions within the .xml docs in your "My Games" folder. It REALLY gives you more control over everything. There, you can designate a sov for your faction, designate your faction's climate type (snow, grass, desert etc), tweak your faction's skin color and more. Of course, I'd only recommend doing that if you're serious about customizing everything in your game... like me. [
