I do still hope LH 2.0 is on the horizon because that will mean further development and DLC releases for the game. More balance. More features. More diplomacy. More complex AI.

Sounds awesome Frogboy thanks for the update. Don't forget we could really use some Diplomancy tweaks in there somewhere.
Really hoping these

Here I was about to watch a video on Windows 9 10, but now I just want to figure out if Joe Belfiore is really a man or a woman. Kinda looks like a man with a man's voice, but talks and acts just like a woman. So distracting!! [e digicons]x_x[/e]

As much as I appreciate the feedback on this game, the fact that at least 3 people repeatedly posting in this thread (Zgubidan, SpacePuss, and StarShrimp) have specifically joined these forums to advertise the very game they're fawning over just... stinks a little. This was very obvious with a glance at their post history, seeing that at this time they haven't said *a word* about GalCiv (all posting from the GalCiv forums) or anything else for

This may be a silly question, but I'd like to know how this game compares to Star Trek Online. That's about the only game I've played in recent years with "in-depth" space exploration. If anyone here has played both games, I'd like to know how space exploration compares, and how combat compares. In STO, I enjoyed both aspects (strongest points of that game IMO). If both areas are considerably improved in Starpoint Gemini 2, I'll lik

Like many males I find, I regrettably signed up on FB because my girlfriend desperately wanted me on it. I have no problem with others using it for the most part, even though I'd never log in again myself. Although I do get bummed out when I see those who have grown extremely addicted to it -- to the point they're technological zombies who can't put down their smart phone at any point during the day, and sleep with it under their pillow at night. I believe ther

Ahh, this is one of those few big (and great) mods that I would love seeing updated again. I truly look forward to seeing what you come up with next Abob! :) Although by the look of that screenshot, I hope it doesn't need the Leaders Pack DLC.

No doubt this is how many companies carry on with dirty, deceptive marketing strategies. It's for this reason I buy very few games these days, and even less DLC (seeing as DLC is the biggest offender across the board). But if I've been treated respectfully as a loyal fan and customer, I will be as loyal as they come and pretty much buy everything you release. I really thought Stardock was better than this. It's frustrating because I've always

Thanks, BernieTime. I was just going to say this myself, although I was going solely on what I was reading. I didn't dare purchase this yet considering how incredibly flimsy it seemed. After you sort through all the exaggerated, "epic sounding" marketing jargon, it didn't sound like much of anything. And now I know I was right to be hesitant. The last 'loot pack' DLC seemed a bit pricey IMO for what it offered, but come o

First and foremost, I enjoy the creative features that allow to make the game "your own". I love the clever ways you can put your mark on the world, such as creating my own sovereign & faction, both from a visually-speaking and stats/traits/behavior-wise, along with designing my faction's appearance, abilities, etc etc. Modding of course enhances this much further, but the in-game creative features are fantastic on their own. While I do consider this to be a unique f

I'll keep it realistic with three simple things I haven't seen mentioned already: 1. Bring *back* the ability to assign specific terrains to a kingdom or empire. I believe it was only WoM where each player/opponent had a unique terrain/biome attached to them, and would spread within all settlements; not just limited to grassland and "evil" wasteland. You could mod/assign your custom kingdoms/empires to have all their settlements spread deserts, snow,

I can't either! The lack of a 'delete your own post/thread' function enabled for all users on these forums -- seems so impractical and just... bizarre.

For the record, I've seen this happen very similarly without using any mods or custom races, as well as default settings (I used to only play that way). While it's not common in my experience, strange (and amusing) things certainly do happen sometimes with surrendering. Clearly another lingering AI problem. I haven't tried setting the threshold to "never" though. And I'm not sure why you insist on being so dismissive a

This is the patch that's supposed to address UI-related issues, right? Therefore, after 3 long years, I figure this is the long-awaited opportunity for that notorious 'glitchy/changing cursor bug' so many of us reported to finally get fixed. Seeing as the cursor bug is the only remaining problem with this game significant enough to keep me from playing it (seriously, it's just a pain), I'm sure you just didn't get

Damn... and here I thought this was going to announce some new stuff. I can't imagine many frequenting this website/forum aren't already aware of your current DLC, therefore making a "DLC reminder thread" probably isn't going to increase sales very much. If you really wish to sell more of your old DLC, you may want to try giving it a discount, even if just a temporary sale (as others have already suggested in this thread). After all, this game is now on Steam -

Loving how there's 3 4 items. Unlike the "official" DLC, this one is free, and yet you still found room for one more item. [e digicons]}:)[/e] After seeing the screenshots, does this mean the new items are available during sov creation as well as drops in-game? Regardless, this sounds like a wonderful alternative to the DLC (didn't bother getting the DLC myself), and I look forward to trying this out thi
1. Fix Mouse pointer bug that has been around since WoM and is plaguing a ton of people: https://forums.elementalgame.com/446915/page/1/#replies
^ This. This should be at the very top of this list to fully address in this patch. The infamous cursor bug is hands-down the biggest UI-related problem with the game. While it may not impact everybody, it impacts more th

One thing that has always bothered me about reported bugs on this forum (at least from what I've seen); Stardock staff is often quick to respond specifically to suggest uploading/pasting a debug.err so they can identify possible problems. But once somebody does, nobody from Stardock says or does anything in response. If there are no problems in the debug.err, it would be nice to see somebody from Stardock admit this, along with seeing how many others have reported this s

My favorite is always this reaction to gun violence: "I can't believe someone could shoot somebody like that. I'm so disgusted by people who even think to shoot another living thing with a gun! Seriously, I hope all people who own guns get shot ." ...Can't tell you how many times I've read nearly this exact line of logic on the internet o

^ Yes; or alternatively, simply getting rid of the word "of" would work fine too. Now it reads: "Crystal allows you to equip your units with more powerful equipment , but can be exhausted quickly." Either recommendation is acceptable, but it is not correct as-is, and sounds odd. Aside from a few minor grammatical issues, wonderful mod!
