Thank you for deciding on eventual CoS support. I know (from experience) correlating compatibility with other mods typically involves far more work, but when it comes to making a larger mod for any game, implementing compatiblity with the most popular mod whenever possible (CoS in this case) is essential IMO. And while one shouldn't "expect" such things of a mod author, in this case it's very much appreciated. I look forward to trying this one out so

Yep, a number of times -- usually very early game by having an unlucky encounter with a massive monster or monster army deciding to smash my only city. In other cases, I'm pretty sure I would've lost in some late-ish game situations, but I tend to quit and not see it through -- starting over from an old save or from the beginning with a new strategy. On high difficulties, it's not rare to see a rival faction form a frightening army with a seem
Now that is quite clear. [e digicons][/e] I'll be trying it out again with your latest update soon, thanks!
I did start a new game but still couldn't tell the difference. To say the animations 'move along more realistic' is still unclear IMO. Are you saying you extended frames of the animations to look slower? I just want to know what to look for.
This almost sounds like a total conversion mod... of sorts. Which is fine, but I'm unsure of a few things. Some of your descriptions are very vague and unclear, like the changes to animation. I've tried this out and still can't tell what was changed here. What exactly have you done to improve the animations? Was your goal here to make them look less abrupt and robotic? If so, I may keep this part of your mod. &n
I love this mod. Has anyone tried with the Children of the Storm mod at all? I'd love it if those 2 could work together, although I am a little skeptical.
With the first released version of this mod, I've tried running both and certainly encountered some problems doing that, so I wouldn't recommend it right now. And unless I've missed something, I've seen no mention of CoS compati
Same here... never saw this happen. Which is a shame. What say you, Stardock?
As much as I'm glad there's increased awareness of these wide-spread criminal practices, NSA backdoors have been infesting Microsoft's operating systems since the 1990's. This is nothing new.
I think a lot of functionality could be implemented to caravans to make them far more interesting and useful. I agree that they have great potential and instead of being removed, should just be heavily revamped. For one, it would be nice if they could also be used to transport multiple items from one city to another. A player could stock up a caravan with armor and weapons in one city, and transport them to units stationed in another city, or simply
I'm all for something along these lines, as I've suggested a somewhat simpler, yet similar way to address this existing problem in the 1.3 patch thread. I still find it odd that so much attention was focused on champions in LH, yet powering up henchmen (along with other various methods not involving champions) still proves to be a far more efficient option. As it is now, capping recruited champions at a meager level 9 is strange eno
I'm not going to claim this browser is "safe", but I certainly sympathize with those who may feel inclined to use it. And wondeful post, BruntFCA. It's easy to scoff at those who are looking for ways to avoid their country's draconian methods of censorship, without bothering to examine their reasons which are often times, perfectly valid and necessary if you want to do... just about anything. I've been to China, and couldn't
What is this 'cheap move' you speak of? If you're being sincere, you might want to explain a bit more clearly as to why you're upset. Otherwise, the efforts to announce your complaint/boycott will be in vain. Without explaining further, it just seems like you're trolling the forums -- considering you just recently signed up only to make one cryptic statement in an attempt to slam Stardock.
Haven't seen this yet, and the first one was terrible IMO. But I love me some Wolverine and always thought Jackman was a great fit. So this is good news.
^ Yikes... such a high sacrifice is not at all worth it IMO. Surprisingly, I'm thrilled with nearly every piece of info here! I especially look forward to the 1.5 patch if diplomacy will be dramatically improved upon. I've been mostly happy with the DLC released so far, and new ones like a "loot pack" sound wonderful (of course, as long as they are priced well for their value). In addition to what's planned, I'm most interested in DLC that add
we dont want to play other MP games. we want to play FE:LH multiplayer.
As can be said in response to many of your posts: Speak for yourself . And Borg999 makes a great point (a point I've made myself before). While LH is a unique, wonderful game IMO, there are endless multiplayer options just in the 4x strategy world
Damn... this is a real shame on many levels. Truly hope this isn't end of the line for Fez.
Reading the comments directed at him made me absolutely disgusted with the gaming community (in general). This is precisely why I prefer to make strategy games. The demographic who I'm working for matters a lot to me. Anything that weeds out the scum.
This could not be
years ago? https://forums.elementalgame.com/439794/page/1/#3314759
Actually he has said a number of times long before, that multiplayer was intended down the line for Elemental. In fact I was giving you benefit of the doubt on this one. I would hope that your childish entitlement issues stem from latching onto more than just one 'off the record' quote. Otherwise, that would be even more sad. <br /
First off, I noticed in another multiplayer thread you being very negative as well, whats up with that? Is it your purpose in life to get on elemental forums every day in order to shit on multiplayer threads?
For the record, I tend to find the few screaming/pandering for "OMGMULTIPLAYER" on this forum (whom may all be you) to be obnoxious. Especially if they're incapable of simply hitting the *reply* button, and instead has to make their m
I think Stardock has always been aware that some gamers prefer everything with multiplayer (much unlike myself). And I applaud them for sticking to focusing on the core single player experience thus far. But creating multiple redundant threads begging the same question won't make it come any sooner -- despite the fact you "expect" them to cater to your individual wishes.
Single player games are good for consoles, not nearly as much for PCs.[/
Multiplayer doesn't make a bad game good. But a lack of multiplayer makes a good game not worth playing.
As long as you understand these are just your opinions; not at all facts. And by the way, these two statements completely contradict each other. But let's talk facts. Think about why so many games have multiplayer today. The idea of implimenting it
Reliability and consistency aren't Steam's strong suits... among many other things. :P
^ Likewise here, Sjaminei. While it may be a problem with this mod itself, on my end I think it's far more likely due to mod conflicts (I'm still running quite a few like CoS). As it says in the readme, this mod does a lot behind the scenes with changing how spells and summoning work, on top of changing the mage trait tree. Which is unfortunate if this is due to conflicts, as what this mod accomplishes sounds fantastic. I've already disabled "<span
Still around Bluegreen?
Speaking of "useless heroes", I have a recommendation for this patch. Currently, as your fame levels up, the champions you recruit level up as well. From 400-800 fame you recruit level 9 champions. However , after 800 fame, you suddenly start finding level 1 champions again, as well as more powerful ones. In other words, for some reason, after 800 the game pulls from the entire roster of champions available regardless of t
Really liking this so far. I've always thought the professions should've been made more unique from each other (aka more interesting). Feel free to implement further variation; IMO you have a good mind for balance. The new abilities like Trap and Martial Law, are very clever and fit perfectly into the world.
