Great work so far. I am liking just about everything this mod does, except for the incredibly fast experience (sorry to jump on the bandwagon and echo so many). After starting a new game with this mod, my sovereign immediately encountered a medium-sized group of bandits. Wasn't a problematic battle whatsoever. But he immediately soared to level 4 afterwards. That's just waaay too fast IMO. That said, I really do appreciate the faste

^ Check the LH modding forum. As Bluegreen0 mentioned in the OP, this is thread isn't being updated further here. And he's been doing all that you asked for. [e digicons];P[/e]
WOW. Crimsonsgekko, I'd like to thank you for pointing out how well this still looks in LH. I assumed it wouldn't work properly outside of FE, but I'd thoroughly recommend this for LH as well. In fact, the vanilla graphics look so bland and subpar, it almost looks horrid by comparison after switching back again. The work here is truly top-notch, and I didn't even notice any performance drop with my mid-range PC. Any chance of continuing
I felt like I was watching a definitive Star Wars movie with Star Trek characters awkwardly "forced" into it. I'm referring to the newer Star Wars prequel trilogy specifically. From the way it was shot, to the special effects, overall tone, etc etc. Some action scenes felt like they were outright copied from Attack of the Clones. The random aliens seen on the ship that didn't appear anywhere in Star Trek before (as opposed to my being abl
Yeah, Wincustomize links seem to take awhile to show up to the public. And thank you *so* much for being so considerate as to maintain a compatibility patch for Children of Storm. I look forward to trying the new version as soon as a link is up!
^ Agreed! Thank you for hearing us and incorporating this new (but necessary) forum. :) And yeah, give it time. While there isn't really that much made yet either, there are some great mods large and small already released (while most still in early stages). But very soon, as topics migrate over and new mods are started, this will be your best place to check.
Yeah, I figured the solution would sound something like that. And I don't blame him if that over-complicates things too much for his taste, but kind of you to display exactly what you have planned. Thanks for explaining so thoroughly.
This is something I've been waiting for since I first placed LH. And it looks fantastic so far. I also really appreciate the fact you modified the icons to differentiate yours just a bit. A real shame though about not being compatible with Children of the Storm (at least in the future apparently). There is no doubt I will be using CotS permanently down the line. So there isn't any way to have two different mods that both add new traits to
Ah thanks, actually. I wasn't aware you could make that adjustment so easily. It's a shame if you don't believe it can be done as a trait, but this is certainly a worthwhile alternative.
I concur with GFirefly. I would not use it either. Never was a big fan of "automatic mod updates"; another downside is when I think of games like Torchlight 2 (among others), the workshop actually stifled all modding potential by limiting how many mods you can install at a time. Which instead of making modding an open-ended, valuable, and enjoyable experience -- into an annoying chore with far too many rules. I vastly prefer installing mo
Mark me down for craving this for LH as well, also some great additional ideas here. Much luck to you, DsRaider . My request/idea (as I'd have no idea how to accomplish myself), if you'd be kind enough to merely consider it: Lone Wolf : Having grown up in such a harsh world, you've learned to get by
You are confused. The stuffs that existed on FE and still available in LH will work, thus some mods can be updated for LH. But none of 'new' features such as skilltree won't be moddable, and Stardock made it clear they have no intention to support mod in viable future. With only things that are moddable are FE stuffs only in LH, we don't need LH mod forum because what will being discussed wil
^ And yet, there has been plenty of great new mods just since its (official) release only less than a week ago. I'd hardly call that pointless. I completely concur with the OP, for the exact same reasons.
Everything here sounds fantastic! Thank you again for listening to us, and continuing to make your great game even better.
(crying about multiplayer)
One reason I play this game is because it DOESN'T focus on multiplayer. If you want a proper single-player game that awkwardly forces some sort of multiplayer or "social/interactive" element on the player in a really clumsy way, I
Been looking forward to this for weeks. Things have been shaping up very nicely! ^ I'm glad you brought that up, dwilson. I apologize if I'm missing something obvious, but with this mod activated, I no longer have any access to ANY default sovereigns from the base game when starting a new game (custom sovereigns are unaffected). While I have made a few custom sovereigns and factions, that seems to have no impact on this problem. The only thing that brings the default sovereigns back is deactivating/removing this mod.
^ Agreed 100%. Although if for some reason we couldn't have an option, I'm siding with Heavenfall as I too would prefer the outline.
^ I can't disagree with your other points, but to say Xia's polite and doesn't ever bitch?? LOL. And I'd like to thank Frogboy for so kindly responding on this issue. Most of the reasoning you gave for the lack of terrain types was no surprise IMO. I look forward to the day more terrain types for factions are a reality. Thanks again.
I stumbled across this myself while attempting to make the environments as they were back in WoM on my own. Spreading desert or snowy tundra across the world while you conquer it had such a fresh, unique feel to it compared to the others. I was fairly shocked when I found it wasn't going to work. Most of the features and gameplay mechanices from WoM which were removed mostly needed more polishing or weren't too highly regarded in the first place. But I figured keepin

Political issues, privacy concerns and all trends aside -- Ultimately, I've always looked at Steam as little more than an obstacle; a useless hurdle I have no interest in, and something I'd rather just not have to navagate around to get to where I want to be. I have a feeling most agree with that assessment, including those who "got used to it", and even those who grew to enjoy and praise Steam. If you still had the option
I continue to wonder if Anonymous is secretly working for the government itself. Most of us know all sorts of politicians (among other very powerful people) are trying to drastically limit the freedom of the internet as of late. Acts like these are EXACTLY what the US government needs right now to tighten-up security, to the point all of us are going to see the effects. Any large-scale cyber attacks are only going to be the perfect reason
^ Nicely said. I'm keeping an open mind to the fact FE has every chance to not be the on-going embarrassment that EWoM was. It'll be lovely to play a new installment of Elemental that does not slow down and inevitably crash after every 20-50 minutes (regardless of which patch I'm currently using). It's a really nice idea; hopefully not just a dream.
The game still fee
Every aspect of the game, not talking about this big magical complaint, is great and is a true rival to MoM, I played MoM enough and still play it too. MoM has still a couple features that FE won't have but FE has a lot of strenght that you don't see in MoM. Can you name me 3?
