You gave Wildlings an ability that 2 shots anything I have without a chance to survive it?! Really? At least when I go to fight dragons I can see their stats and know that I am in over my head. But here you see a small weak group of wildlings and their Magi two shots all your heroes and all units. LOL Please fix.

Maybe they join Obsidian or BGEE team. Or Wasteland 2 team. Anyways good RPGs are not dead, they just don't come from Bioware anymore just like good aRPG don't come from Blizzard anymore.

[quote who="Othello" reply="17" id="3230419"]Diablo 3's story is fine. If you're looking for a story read a book or watch a movie. If it took me 40 hours to read a book just to finish one story I would never read again. Video games have pedantic stories where the "gameplay" in between serves only to dilute the impact of the narrative, people give them more credit than they deserve. The AH is a great side game in Diablo 3. If you don't feel like putting in the time to gr

Sure they warm you up to the game but after getting 1 class to 60 you want to jump right into the other classes without the 40+ hour grind to inferno (the hardest difficulty). It's hard for me to say Diablo 3 is a bad game. With nearly 100 hours of gametime so far, I've gotten my worth out of my purchase.

Out of arpg options at this moment I would only recommend Path of Exile if you like D2. It is the closest thing to a modern version of D2. This weekend is a stress test weekend open to anyone that registers at pathofexile.com The game is currently in closed beta but you can get in (after the weekend when it is open to all) if you can get a key from someone or support the company with 10$ (which also gives you ingame credits that you can use to buy cosmetic items). It is

Unfortunately city spam issue is an old problem of Stardock. I tried to play their GalCiv game and once I figured out at start I should be doing nothing but colonizing like crazy I quit and uninstalled the game. Games like Birth of the Federation were much more superior in this department (you could spam colony ships but new planets were near useless without terraforming which took 20+ turns; also the minor races part of the game gave another option to colony spam, usually a superio

I don't see a fix for superstrong monsters like Ashwake Dragons spawning too close to starting positions and wiping out players by turn 100 :/

Like in previous beta I am still experiencing a bug where I would give my unit a command and after it does it the combat stops with that unit waiting for something for about 20-30s. After this time passes the next unit in initiative order can go. The game does not freeze, it is like it is calculating something in the background instead of giving a next unit in initiative order a chance to act. All the current unit actions are crossed except for wait. But wait does nothing as well.

I wish this happened to me. I was destroyed just by a Ashwake Dragon. My two heroes and lvl 3 city guardsmen didn't make a dent in him. His lair was 2 screens away and he decided to move all the way to my only city and destroy me before turn 100 :(

Another way to stop pioneer spam is to force pioneers to be a mid tech high cost unit similar to what Tribalwars or Travian does. Since it is a magical world in ruins it is logical you cannot just send 10 men to make a new city out in the middle of nowhere as someone would have done this by now and not waited for you. As your sovereign is special and uses that to create first city some tech can be needed to make more cities. It could be even done so that tech only lets you build

I agree that heroes should not be made mortal but I also don't like the current system of "dead" heroes defending cities they were sent to after death. I would like to see hero death explained better. Like they don't just go to any city but to ones with temple (or the capital if no others are closer) and need to spend x amount of turns recovering from death there (where x is higher as hero level is higher). During this time they cannot fight and if the city falls to enemy hands they l
