That Static Blast thing is definitely screwed up.
I've noticed this as well. Thanks for reporting! [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
It's possible I suppose, but it's very early in the game, and the western road is headed partly through a wildland area.
I have not met any other factions. Upon researching trading, roads were constructed to unknown lands. Save Game.
That. Is. AWESOME!!!! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Nerf de flamedartz1!!!!
Research seems a lot quicker now - much too quick, in fact - or Inspiration is way too powerful.
The Diplomacy UI is very limiting of my ability to react to other leader's incoming requests or demands. This is a symptom of the larger problem of the Diplomacy UI being very inorganic and obtuse.
They can do it to me, why can't I do it to them, for better or for worse?
Seconded, was just going to post about this.
It seems like the Farm may have switched hands and been under my control after all. This comes down to another UI-not-updating-appropriately bug.

Gilden (AI) initiated the production of a Farm in its territory. When I click on the Farm, it shows as being 'attached' to Greyrock and is being produced by Greyrock. Save Game.

If you want to have 10 -15 cities by turn 100, then they should not grow without infrastructure. I don't have a problem with buildings, traits, city level-up options, or city enchantments that offer solutions to this issue because they are a choice to be made. Getting easy prestige from
I still kinda think heroes should get a wage increase as they level. Maybe +.1 or .2 gildar per level?
I don't like Fortress because it doesn't provide enough defense and the units it trains are not affordable unless you have a Town. So choosing Town allows basically the same units to be trained, but you can also afford them. Now that Hp per level is so low, a townie unit is just as good as a Fortress. Most of the time they are just there to suck up damage anyhow. I might choose fortress on anything more than 5 Materials. Otherwise in the long

That seems the opportune time to use influence.
You should definitely be able to negotiate a deal in other equivalent terms when another nation threatens you, or they should ask for different / divergent resources, other than the now standard "bully for gildar" approach.
I agree with ddd888. I'd like to know who actually builds those growth buildings in your Towns? Because I never do. There's way too much prestige in the civilization tech tree, and way to much prestige from sovereign leveling. There needs to be real choice when you think about building that next city. Currently, it's always better to have more cities.

By the way, are you really just balancing the game features like the title suggests, or are you conducting a particularly diabolical experiment over up in here? *Pushes the door open just a smidge* [e digicons]:O[/e]
