Change both to 'Thing-a-ma-bob' and 'Whatcha-ma-callit', respectively. This will dispel all confusion.

The tiles needs to refresh when objects are taken off the map, a la Civ V.
With Tarth I build troops that amplify the racial bonus (+attack and intiative.) This results in high initiative, high damage units pretty early in the game.
Those icons on the 'infocard' are worthless. I always double-click the enemies to get the useful information. Seems like a lot of clicking to me.
Reduce the automatic sovereign prestige to make the growth improvements more prominent because they are never necessary to build (unless you always use a sovereign with the wealthy trait to spam cities.)
Has anybody been able to build this in .99 or .991?
Yup.
If sentence #2 were implemented, we wouldn't need sentence #1.
A hotkey for idle cities which works like Tab for units would be an extremely nice feature.

You can hover over the individual units to get their HP infos.
This has always bugged me. Good call.
Then good luck winning on ridiculous. I mean, isn't that the point of a ridiculous difficulty? [e digicons]:|[/e]

You probably have a modded version of the game, or the game somehow became corrupted. Uninstall and delete all files in your my docs > my games > fallen enchantress folder. Reinstall.
It's a poor design mechanic that would lead to players always choosing one type of shard for all shards. Since power would stack to extreme levels, there would be no reason to do anything else. Since fire magic is the best damage element, all players would need to choose this to compete. Thus all shards would be fire and all players would be fire mages. Now, you could rebalance the entire game so that each element has about the s

I had the Mirror Shield in a recent game, and after a while sort of forgot about it, and later in the game was thinking "Why is that Air Elemental taking damage every time it hits me?" I suggest adding an animation (always cool) and/or a floating display any time reflect damage procs. If there already is an animation, I couldn't tell and I would suggest making it more pronounced.
There also needs to be easier access to the hiergamenon from every aspect of the game while in-game.
Archers in the back row - the best thing since sliced bread!
A lesser known cheat is that the AI sometimes spawns Gold Mines and Apiaries next to their capital city on turn 2. This is a big advantage and should not happen on normal difficulty.
This has happened to me (as a player), so it is not the AI cheating.
The random events I've seen so far are childish (to be nice) and don't seem to fit in the deep, dark fantasy game world the devs are apparently trying to create with the Elemental brand. I mean, rescue a Kitty??? Come on!
