If I don't have to post another memory leak or OOM error, me and Harpo will be happy campers.
Why would I ever build a production city??? Production simply allows you to build faster in that city. It has no value in itself. You would end up with a city that builds nothing, extremely quickly... Building next to a iron mine in some hills is just a resource outpost and not a real city.
One that specializes in assembly line creation of military units? For example, In MoM I love playing as Dwarves on Impossible difficulty. Why?
I quit 3 years ago and never looked back. Except once, but let's not talk about that. lol
Business plan to sell their products on any DD platform yet allow customers to update purchased products from their own platform? Makes sense to me - maximize customer base that way.
Do the rivers always need to flow from N, S, E, W or can they also flow NW, NE, SE, & SW? I think they would look better by mixing up the directions a bit. This makes sense to me because unit movement from a tile is a choice of 8 directions - why rivers only 4? I'm not sure if it's possible but coding rivers to flow from highlands to lowlands would be nice - I'm sure you've looked at that. It would be less than ideal to see a river flow from a lowland grassland int
Player choice via a slider would be awesome or at least based on world difficulty. Bottom line: if I'm playing the hardest difficulty I want those monsters emulating a human opponent. I also like the idea that monster intelligence also serves to gauge how agressive they are (as LightofAbraxas and IronKaiser pointed out). The monster difficulty on harder settings should feel like a function of quality over quantity. For example, those Troll Warriors you had in WOM were he
FE might give me a disease: permanent erectile dysfunction. Who needs Viagra? Schwing! [e digicons]:waaaa:[/e]
I'm a fan of Magic: The Gathering. When I refer to hopes of FE being like MTG, yes part of that is spell/counter spell. However, I want abilities on units like First Strike, etc. I want tactical combat to have the feeling of depth that a MTG duel brings to the table. And line of sight, walls, cover, flanking, would all be badass too. I want tactical to incorporate meaning full decisions. And ponies.
Cool. Will there be minor factions?
Quoting Frogboy, reply 7 We are. That's going away. Oh glorious day!
Dang, I like circles. Circle shrimp, circle medley, circle biscuits, circle pancakes, circle muffins, circle jerks, etc. Squares are cool too, but hexes are way cooler. Anyway, keep the circles alive somewhere.
Cool. The new UI looks great.
Man, if I can come away from a FE tactical combat feeling like I just played a Magic: The Gathering duel I'll be one happy camper.
I downloaded this to both check it out and see if I could duplicate scifi's issue. It loaded fine for me.
Heavenfall, I bow to you, sir... and cheers! [e digicons][/e]
Unfortunate. Hi, Troj!
Ogre Crotch. An old WoM bug. Sometimes you would get monsters in the wilderness talking to you or hear something about them. The window with the animated monster in it wasn’t always zoomed in correctly. In this case it was a very tight zoom on the ogres crotch with the text “There is a growing threat in the wilderness”. A growing threat indeed, I have never been so terrified of an Ogre.
I lol'd. [e digic
I think shrouded next tile thing looks pretty cool.
I would agree that FE > EWOM. I'd hate to see "guys, the AI isn't that good in FE because I spent too much time on EWOM." Doh. [Edit] And I say this as someone who tested the hell out of the game for several months... nowhere near to some others but my point is; as painful as it is to move on, it's time.
Cool, I've been meaning to get a copy of the book. Just finished reading A Dance with Dragons the other day and need something to read until the final Wheel of Time comes out in a few months.

I was at Walgreens the other day buying my Lady Gaga-ish eye makeup and there was a, I kid you not, a Justin Bieber "singing" toothbrush on the checkout rack. Yes, a Justin Bieber singing toothbrush... "As Seen on TV!" WTF.

WTF, RTS? I thought I purchased a FPS. Daggum Stardock shennanigans.
I love the MOM Change Terrain and Transmute spells from the Nature books. It's pretty cool to fine tune the land around your capital or important cities. It would be cool to have some functionality like that in FE.
Lookin' good! I'd like to request the special abilities "Lady Killa" or "Most Interesting Sovereign in the World". Something along those lines. I can get my RPG on.
Tis merely looks like a simple childhood game of Hangman. Must be a morale booster of some sort. Enter audio at 36. Love it.
