A jetliner is flying at 35,000 feet. We humans see and hear it. We recognize it. The jetliner is . The ant doesn't see and hear it. The ant doesn't know it and even if it did, wouldn't know what it is. The jetliner is not . The jetliner either is or is not depending on perspective. H

Are the graphics where the river meets the ocean still being worked on? It looks like the river runs up against a green wall or something. Thanks for the vid, looks awesome! I like how there is a RUSH button, which I assume when pushed plays random tunes like Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, Natural Science, or The Trees. Necromancer would also be an awesome tune to play to this game. Don't put Rivendell in the queue though, or I'm Going Bald.

Is it possible to add some shrubbery to hills and mountains? I think aesthetically those tiles would look more natural and appealing if the mountains had some shrubbery or trees on them vs. looking like a pyroclastic flow wiped out all life. Other than that wish about hills and mountains I think it looks cool. [Edit] Just noticed that is a volcano!, lol. Anyway, if a hill or mountain is not a volcano can it have some foliage? I kind of like the idea, for AI purposes, to have land units create their own transports (ala from Civ 5 from what I've heard). With that said, if the AI can be taught to do proper naval warfare, then allow the AI and players create warships which would allow some sea combat. As I see it, the mechanic of a land unit walking into a sea tile and creating a transport eliminates the needless micro of loading ships. It also allows the AI to consider all map squares for movement. On the other h

I dunno, I like the elegant simplicity of MOM: Engineer to build roads As cities connected to the road networks, trade bonuses applied, as long as each city was connected directly via the road network (i.e. a road would have to go around a city hub to allow bonuses to other cities) Did not need to micro individual caravans, etc. Had direct control over the road layout via the engineers (need to micro the engineers but that's ok, was used to it

I'm not sure how but Master of Magic AI created boats and loaded units on them. They also crossed water with flying creatures, water walking, and using towers to cross into the other plane and back again. The AI would even know to cast water walking or flying on units to enable crossing. Again, have no idea how but the AI was smart enough to use those methods.
You can pass through ZOC. The AI might even let you depending on whether it determines it is in its best interest.
Brad - just to clarify. Separate AI's will ignore each other's ZOC or they will allow passage for each other? Thanks.
