Fought the Empire Champion Csilla whom casts Mass Curse. When she does that, it bugs out tactical combat where the player's only choice is to autoplay to finish the combat.

The weapon Sculla's Mace has the shrink ability. Unfortunately it stacks upon multiple hits so when I attacked a Forest Drake I had his 40+ attack down to 1 in no time.
Yup, really enjoyable! This is a great build. However just experienced my first 0.86 CTD. [e digicons]X([/e] Email sent to support.
It's not a bug. Resources touching your city proper will tie up your production queue. Resources not touching your city proper will build outside the queue. In short, try to always build resources outside your city first, then snake buildings towards them after to bring them into your city proper.
Not to steal from MOM, but allowing the player to choose housing (growth) or trade goods (gildar) is a pretty solid mechanic for empty build queues. Hell, you could even allow worship or something to create additional mana. To provide more choices, you could allow focus on whatever resource is tied to the city. For example, if the town has a mine allow focus on metal or crystals or diplomatic capital even if the city has that resource. Now there's still the issue of resource exces
Super impressed with this build. And not a single crash tonight, yay!
I hear what you all are saying but I've had a blast this first game. Loaded up a normal game to show my daugher the ropes, playing as Porpoiseinippity, and was like holy crap hardly any xp from kills. But then I figured out she can summon that Shadow Warg, oh man, hella fun. Put next to a Wildlands, friggin 5 man groups of Ogres chasing my butt all over the place, destroying my Outposts and resources. Tactical combat is light years beyond where it was - Darkling Shaman cursing and
Downloading now! Will certainly let you know, especially about any crashes.
So I had this random idea that popped into my head, similar to my other great idea that if I spend $100 a week on lottery tickets I'll win the jackpot in 3 months. Would it be cool if the game logged major feats of my heroes and sovereign, recording them in a unique diary kind of thing? Would this add a cool kind of immersion to the game, making me feel more connected to my main characters? It's almost like a debug.err file, but tracking key events throughout the game tha
I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow, or Friday for that matter.
I want a new Leisure Suit Larry, or Secrets of Monkey Island.
I don't think UI features should be techs. One idea: have three difficulty settings World difficulty- for monster difficulty Strategic difficulty- for strategic AI Tactical difficulty- for tactical AI This way, if folks find the tactical AI unfun, they can tone it down, and if they like it, they can keep it.
I'm going to pull the Ace of Spades out of my Spiderman underwear. Now call me stupid, but I thought Pirates tactical combat was pretty nifty, simple and here's why: It had LOS It had angle of attack with bonuses It had true range on range attacks It had melee, range, and cavalry units You couldn't kite per se because melee units could use cover of forests to eliminate LOS and if in sight, forest cover gave
There was a post somewhere about saves getting corrupted by some unlocked techs. I think BoogieBac said it was fixed in the next build so hopefully you're just a couple days away from relief.
Forum QQ posts about how difficult Brad the AI would be a good thing. [edit] I think more forum QQ posts about how difficult Brad made the AI would be a good thing. Now, if normal is too hard for the casual gamer, fine, tune it down but please ensure the harder difficulties make me want to come here and cry like a baby.
Most definitely evidence of the Illuminati.
Brad - what's stopping you from abandoning the city and go on razing warpath? What I mean is: become a man without a kingdom , attempt to take over weakly defended enemy cities, raze them, until you've reached some semblance of balance and can then marshall your strength again?
Yep, agree. Force the turtle to stick its head out by creating magical famines, destruction of buildings, etc.

Caravan removal means the end is near... the end... is near. Is it next Thursday yet?
I'm not sure we need to place units. I'd be fine if the tactical map logic just recognized 1. am I range or squishy, back row and 2. am I melee, front row. Obviously placing manually would be perfecto but to be honest I'd settle for some common sense placement. Kind of like poker in the front, liquor in the back. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Whoa, good stuff.
A good suggestion example: Archers don't scale up. Can we make accuracy be to ranged units what strength is to Melee units. A suggestion example we can't use: I think FE should be the best of Master of Magic (well the one that was modded over several years, not the original release) PLUS Age of Wonders:SW (not the original AOW or AOW2 but AOW2:SW) PLUS Total War. If a stalemate occurs for N turns, roll the dice and force an AI player to attack. Problem solved.
