Yes, that worked. Thanks.
This is not a new request by far, but this has yet to make it into a build. Let me see city details and compare to other cities when making city specialization choices. This has been asked for on each build I can remember. Especially on larger games I don't have every city name memorized and don't necessarily remember what I was moving towards for a specialization. I know this has been asked for over and over again, would be nice to see it happen. <br

And yes, the Capriccio Italien is extremely bombastic.
There was talk of this earlier today, and now it's here.
The govern screen shows my three cities as all taking 4,294,967,295 seasons to grow. That's a bit on the long side. The actual figures from the main screen are accurate, and considerably shorter.
I think Pariden is the only one that gets those books. The benefit is that every hero you hire will have all the elements. That is a huge power. You should try getting all the hero techs right away and doing quests to get lots of gildar. You can buy a level 5 hero and make him a right nasty mage. Having every element means you have access to many more spells than other factions. But it does seem like a good idea to make a custom Sov and just use the

Very articulate, to the point. Nicely done. :) Also reminded me that Bach was actually born in Gilden.
Tactician (Army gets + 1 initiative) is too weak and should be "+ 2 initiative"
Agreed. Large weapons with strong negatives to initiative are available fairly quickly in the game to champions, as are opponents you'll need to use them on simply to move through territory that would otherwise by completely blocked; and spell availability ramps up more slowly. So you're suddenly left with heroes who are very slow, and lack hit points to su
I've used diplomacy both by clicking the AI player in the upper right of the main screen, and by right-clicking on an AI unit. Had no crashes with this, either in .86 or .90, though my game's crashed twice on unit movement in 126 turns, thus far. I'm not writing this to contradict anybody, but to point out that the bug appears not to be general.
Good news, about the AI expanding more aggressively.
I'm hoping it'll expand aggressively but sensibly. And I don't mean that it'll establish outposts as chokepoints to keep you out of a large swath of territory in which it hopes to grow. Because "scouts to mountain passes-->pioneers put up chokepoints-->ruler keeps you out" is very gamey, in my opinion. At least
One thing I didn't manage to understand from the changelog: does magic work as it did before? I mean how heroes learn spells and all?
You mean, they get spells by raising levels? If so, then yes. I'm glad they bypassed the WoM method, which comes straight from Master of Magic. Mind, I liked it in MoM, but there it was the only thing you researched. In WoM, it seemed overkill.</
CK2 is as much about vassal and dynastic management as it is about conquest. You need to know how to manage the shifting allegiances of those who serve you, the laws governing succession, and the traits that personalize so many people in and out of your realm. It's the only way to expand successfully. Love the game, personally. It's quirky, but addicting, and has great replayability.

I can search within the game on a huge range of subjects, including all available spells--but there's no listing of what spell book a given spell belongs to, and no entries for each spell book, complete with all the spells listed in it. Would seem to be a natural, so you can find at once what spells will be available on the next level of a given element if a champion or sovereign chooses to take that as a reward upon leveling.
