And so many newer versions of games are just about that. They don't appear to make a great deal of money, though, so I'm surprised this is being attempted. Unless, of course, EA plans to have all the characters in their endless SimCity franchise play the game.

Is that link still up? The one in your first post here would seem to be only text. Nothing hyper about it.
I'm a big fan of lore, in any game I play that is sensible enough to offer it. That said, the draw of stopping pioneer spam lures me over to this mod--so mechanics balancing gets to be my first mod. Thank you both for your comments. Thanks for the quick response. So now, on top of all the decisions to make within the game, I have to make a decision about which flavor to play. Figures. ;)

Certainly appears to be involved in balancing, to me. In fact, that would seem to be the mod's focus. Does it work well with Heavenfall's mod? His new items and races frankly look great, and your improvements to combat are well thought out.

I've had that happen twice, as well. Often involved some form of odd overlap between landing a stack on a space with a quest, whose popup info panel didn't show until I was in a battle with another stack.
Messed up info on the game in the registry, at least as I see it. Uninstall, then consider going through the registry (using regedit) and deleting any references to the game that might remain. Of course, before you do any of this, be sure you establish a restore point. Then re-download, and reinstall. I know it's painful at slow speeds, but that would seem to be your sole recourse.
If you're running an anti-virus program, consider turning it off in order to install.

I agree, Summoning is not thoroughly implemented yet, but Summoner as a ruler's background is simply a single, immediately useful perk, like any of the others. I like it, too: summoning a Shadow Warg from the game's start can make all the difference when you're saddled with Procipinee and another champion who is just as unimpressive at melee. Then you can cast a second warg only for the tactical screen, and give yourself a nice advantage in some early battles.

Good. I was concerned it might be rushed because of the begging folks.
Did I willfully miss it, or has nobody asked yet when Beta 4 will arrive? My thoughts: hold it off until it truly feels done. Don't push it out the door to capitalize on an enthusiasm which will be there, anyway.
Ironically, it was the retail chains themselves, especially the carnivorous GameStop, that helped make online stores such a success. I'll never forget a decade ago when their management decided that PC sales simply weren't worth it, moved the PC titles to the back of their stores, and instructed clerks to tell people they could only order PC games for them if they'd first stocked them. It didn't help that at least some clerks (if the experiences of my wife and myse
