It was eliminated quite a few betas back--4 months, perhaps? Its leader, as I recall, remains a freely available champion in the game, and a very high one, at that.

So SP improvements are tech trees for Amarians, and core improvements are buildings, only? I guess I could open the files, but it seems easier to just ask, given the size of them.

If you play Pariden or a customized, Pariden-like leader, give strong consideration to the virtues of pioneer spam's more demure younger sister, arcane monolith spam. It's a circular path: the more monoliths you drop around shards, the more mana you'll have from shards to create more monoliths. Of course, you don't want to neglect prestigious locations, food boosters, iron, clay, crystal deposits, etc, but shards should you be a focus of yours. Not only do th

Flanking bonuses. It makes sense.

A single fortress city with three essence is a very, very powerful thing, if used wisely. Use production boosts to build quickly, then use auras to enhance your troops.
It would be nice if we could get word on whether this is something that's in the queue for fixing soon. In the meantime, is this something that a modder could change?
You might want to search for the Goetia thread. Seanw and Heavenfall are doing up that mod, and it will contain plenty of spells. I'm not suggesting that you do so to stop your own work, but because it will help prevent needless duplication, and maybe spawn some creative interchange.
Remember that the year still has two months to whirl along before it gets a reboot. It might be better to wait on arguing the "best game of the year" until the year's actually out--but that's up to you. :)

He showed up in the Paradox forums after reviewing Crusader Kings II, and instead of being hailed after revealing who he was, ended up surprised that a lot of players criticized him for getting quite a bit of information wrong. The impression I at least was left with was that he'd played for a day or two, was a quick study, and mistook that for understanding a really deep TBS. Make of that what you will in this context.
My mage sovereign, who uses a bow, almost always appears ahead of his melee troops.
