So SP improvements are tech trees for Amarians, and core improvements are buildings, only? I guess I could open the files, but it seems easier to just ask, given the size of them.
I already turned off quests due to the AI getting them completed for free, if i turn of monsters too i may as well just quit and play civ IV... lol
Would the Wilderness quests count as regular quests do in the sense of quick AI completion, I wonder?
Quoting Glazunov1, reply 9You need a race that has Enchanters, and The Decalon. It's a bug. Derek's already mentioned it will be fixed in the future. so you have to be an exact copy of pariden. lol. Yay for customization? Well if hes mentioned it.. and its known.. why is it not being fixed?
Because it was discovered after the game was released. (If you know a comp

Per Seanw's comment on the last page:
Ugh, have to go solve someone else's problem. I'll try and get something ready for public release tomorrow.
I'm sure he'll post here when the content is ready for downloading.
This type of AI behaviour reminds me a lot of the Gal Civ 2 AI... The more I read stuff about the game the more I get the idea that this is Gal Civ 2 in a fantasy world + rpg elements....? Please tell me there's more to this??Btw, I enjoyed Gal Civ 2 but it lacked an addictive element and the combat was uninspiring to me.
The very basic elements you've described are shared between the two games, but the

If you play Pariden or a customized, Pariden-like leader, give strong consideration to the virtues of pioneer spam's more demure younger sister, arcane monolith spam. It's a circular path: the more monoliths you drop around shards, the more mana you'll have from shards to create more monoliths. Of course, you don't want to neglect prestigious locations, food boosters, iron, clay, crystal deposits, etc, but shards should you be a focus of yours. Not only do th

All the races you've created are in there. Delete what you wish, though I suggest changing the suffix on a race to OLD, instead, just in case you make a mistake. A single fortress city with three essence is a very, very powerful thing, if used wisely. Use production boosts to build quickly, then use auras to enhance your troops.

You might want to search for the Goetia thread. Seanw and Heavenfall are doing up that mod, and it will contain plenty of spells. I'm not suggesting that you do so to stop your own work, but because it will help prevent needless duplication, and maybe spawn some creative interchange.

Remember that the year still has two months to whirl along before it gets a reboot. It might be better to wait on arguing the "best game of the year" until the year's actually out--but that's up to you. :)

Es wäre sicher nicht falsch später neue Fraktionen mit gravierend anderem Spielablauf einzuführen.
Oh please yourself. If the game was buggy, the forum would be full of angry people. Not people proclaiming it as game of the year. But there's nothing that takes away from the very strong concept of the game, its good mechanics, and its excellent

He showed up in the Paradox forums after reviewing Crusader Kings II, and instead of being hailed after revealing who he was, ended up surprised that a lot of players criticized him for getting quite a bit of information wrong. The impression I at least was left with was that he'd played for a day or two, was a quick study, and mistook that for understanding a really deep TBS. Make of that what you will in this context.
