Happened once on me. Doesn't necessarily mean the outpost is doing it, since it could be happening out of sight elsewhere, as well.

Perhaps he was gruntled, then dissed the game.
That's a zombie baby in the front row? I thought at first it was an arcane monolith. [e digicons]

She's also the one who has inefficient production, and no combat bonuses. She comes with some long term benefits--arcane monoliths, the crown, the apprenticeship in various spell schools--but has severe shortterm limitations. On a small map, she's a disaster. On a la

If someone wants to use powerful magic, they should be able to. If you don't want to use it, too. Not everybody in the world has to play the game the same way. Fix the stacking issue, and the spells are fine.
All three times I have played the default Porcinipee - does she just naturally suck? Magnar's CITY MILITIA are better than my Destiny Guard units that take 7 bloody turns to build. Also - I keep cranking out units but my military strength rating doesn't go up at all while Magnar's keeps skyrocketing.
Magnar is probably the most powerful to play, if you figure out a decent strategy with his slaves. I like loading saved games in any game I play, after I fall flat on my face. Because I know that the only way I'll learn is if I can get it right, and move on to my next falling-flat-on-his-face event. If I just end it all and restart, I'll never get a chance to make more advanced, and different mistakes. I'll be like Mr. Dick in David Copperfield: slightly barmy, always restarting his thesis because in the first page or two he starts discussing Charles I's h
Just read this review.
It's not a professional review, so really, just a series of opinions. Some are factually incorrect. Others seem to be the result of exposure to the game for such a short period of time that the writer didn't understand what they were seeing, and gave up rather than digging any deeper. Much of it just makes me want to wonder what game this person was actually playing--except that, given

And they're sort of right, but I don't think that's nearly good enough reason to rip the game like they do in that review. Really, champions and the empires develop side by side but not necessarily together.
You raise a good point. And I have to wonder whether the Civ game mechanic of units being al

If I see a monster out of D&D, I will convene a meeting of all the factions to get it expelled to WoM. Now, if you want to create sword-wielding dragon pony spiders, we might consider that.
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 13I did. You can snake them, but you can't snake them to rivers or forest to gain that bonus. Right...nice save.
He's been complaining about the no-snaking thing for some time, so he has known manual placement exists.
Drywall. They're basically good as drywall. Nice that you can research all those techs, just to get something that has no more hitting power than a bit of compressed gypsum plaster and paper.
I don't mind wages per unit. After all, you are getting units without expending the resource of time in your cities. But the amount is way off. In the last beta I pointed to 4 gildar/unit on a merc, and just disbanded constantly. It's the kind of mechanic that's broken, whatever a development might wish, because no one will use it as it is.
No. Kraxis is allied with the Empire, after all. The faction can only get Death magic.
I'm with DSRaider. I don't see anything like that we can touch. I suspect diplomacy will get some loving attention from Derek and his team in the near future, and I'd love to see that in the mix, but it's entirely up to them.

The points each faction gets by default has gone from 2 to 3, however only one faction weakness can now be selected (so a maximum of four points if you choose a weakness).
Yes, but it fixes the bug to need both Enchanters and The Decalon to get access to the spellbooks. If you want the spellbooks and the scrying pool, you would still need both traits, but that is the intention. The cost is still the same, as the available creation points has been increased, too.
Ah, so Derek intends to make the arcane monolith + scrying pool + spellbooks cost 3 now, instead of 2. In which case, you're still paying 3 points, more than under the beta where these and the spellbooks were all part of Enchanters, for 2 points.

In general, it's a good idea to buy from the source (or donate to a source), rather than through a distributor, since in the latter case you're paying for the pipeline.
The bug's been noted. Though for what it's worth, I just think Procipinee's taking multi-vits.
