whats a more intense synonym for "wicked"? :) fantastic work my friend...
Mobella
yeah for technology! :) thanks for the update Brad...
fantastic news... welcome aboard Kael!
im trying to enjoy it, but i find it to be too frantic (at times)... am i becoming that old codger, sitting on his porch, shouting at the young whippersnappers crossing his lawn? :(
your talents are apparently endless... [e digicons]k1[/e]
thanks for the insight brad... as always, your candor is most appreciated...
couldnt ask for a better confirmation of your efforts... well done lads! :)
i am such a poor player (tactically)... i -always- rush into enemy territory with my sov... i mean, he's got all the juicy spells! :)
im both apologetic (for not realizing there was a specific fiction forum), and thankful (for the clarification)... :)
Brad, could I trouble you for some insight into your writing methods and general approach to writing Destiny's Embers? I've read about the inspirations for EWoM (from both an artistic and gameplay perspective), but I would really like to hear what process(es) worked for you in the book's development. Did you find yourself sitting for random periods of time, doodling story arcs, creating backstories, etc.? Had you already imagined the complete work in your head, and fleshed out
wow, fantastic work on the university! simple but effective design... what are the gray globs on the left-hand side?
wow, completely missed this one... thanks! :)
your tireless efforts dont go unnoticed my friend... thanks for all you do (and on so many fronts!)... [e digicons]k1[/e]

the color palette and vines (and other growth) go a long way towards "elfing" the wall... looks great...
good stuff brad... thanks for the update!
im not really a fan of steam, but i definitely wanted to try the demo... just installed steam and downloaded the 3GB Civ 5 demo in about half an hour! never imagined the connection would be so strong on a launch day for a title of this magnitude... now i just have to get home... eat dinner... give the kids bathes... get them to bed........ and then i can try the demo... ;)
any initial impressions will be most appreciated... thinking about adding this one to my collection as well, but i want to hear from players, as opposed to editors (not that those are mutually exclusive mind you)... :)
these are definitely in the "small" camp... 1. ability to control assets in the editor via left mouse-click ==> drag (as opposed to coordinate dials) 2) ability to group select (and manipulate) assets in editor 3) ability to copy/paste assets already placed on the landscape
the Mint is the ultimate economic achievement (i believe)... ive only ever built one once... but definitely a tradegood type building...
very impressive work Gnilbert... are you a .Net developer by trade? [e digicons]k1[/e]
because the traveling pants were all sold out? sorry, couldnt help myself to the awful pun... [e digicons]^_^[/e]
this post is meant for no other purpose than to express my extreme satisfation with my last game... i -finally- completed my first attempt at a "large map" game, and after hours upon hours of back and forth with my adversaries, i finally won (via conquest) late last night... /me sighs happily that game must have stretched the entire week (i only have so many hours to play after the kids are in bed... you know how that is ;) )... i had zero CTD, and experienced
