Haha. How funny. I made a faction called Idiots, and their Sov Moron got the Bandit Lord trait.

How could you say the story's not that good if you didn't finish the game? I admit, Mass Effect has always has those stupid annoying things to it (mining in 2, driving on planets in the 1st one). But I actually think the story is pretty damn good, for a video game.
I also wonder what the difference would be going an AMD route? If you have to change the MB anyways, you could get into a Phenom II X6 for a decent price. I know the i7s and such are better than the latest AMDs, but usually when going for best bang for the buck, at a mid range price, AMD usually wins out.
If you're running a resolution lower than your desktop resolution it will default to windowed. In your FE directory in MyDocs, locate the Prefs.ini file. Inside this file is a line Fullscreen=0. Change that to 1. Save, start playing.

That would have started world war 3 in my house. Then again, thank god my woman doesn't like Lady Gaga, or even remotely think that Lady Gaga is "normal". I feel for ya man!
I am having this issue as well. I just tried uninstalling/reinstalling 0.75 to no avail. I can see the path in registry, and looks correct, except for the date listed (it shows the date it was installed)
It's a beta dude. Chill.

Also, don't do the campaign, it's not very good at showing the game. You can't research anything in the campaign.
Only one way to fix that problem...
I am also disgusted with gamepulse. I REALLY can't wait until I can get this crap off my computer. I never really liked Impulse too much, but I did appreciate that you could turn off ads, and really liked that it doesnt need to run to play a game. I wonder how long it will take them at Gamestop to change that behaviour as well. Impulse has always been really slow with updates (not to be confused with d/l speed which has been dropping like a rock since the transition), but I put up with it
Steam pisses me of in that it MUST be open to run games. That is the only advantage to Impulse right now, at least for me.
Oh? Where's your pony then?
Adorable...hmm...For some reason, I'm not too sure that's the adjective Frogboy would use to describe you...
Yeah, the layout certainly takes some getting used to. I've been trying to learn how to do things programmatically for the most part. It can certainly cut down the time it takes to design the app's UI. The emulator is slow seemingly whatever computer it runs on. I'd suggest getting an android phone if you can, as it runs much faster on an actual device (though when running in debug, it will always run slower than when not in debug mode).
It's bad, but I still haven't used Git and repo. It took me a while to get into it, but I've got the hang of it all now (well, mostly). I stated with Google's app inventor, then move into Eclipse and the SDK, along with the Java Bridge. Now I have two apps in the market, I've released my own version of the bridge, and have converted a few App Inventor apps into the SDK for some people. It's true that most documentation is p
Hahah yeah, that would be cool, but too bad it's going to give you cancer instead :P
Oh damn unacomm, you're killing me. Well played.
I've seen quite a difference in drive speeds from model to model on SSDs. They seem to range anywhere from 40-280MB/s (Claimed specs anyways).
Uhhh...WoM is still turn based.
In fact, ALL of the Elemental betas have required internet access. It downloads the datablob everytime you open it. However, you shouldn't need Impulse open. If you get that error, try hitting shift + tab. This should bring up the impulse login within Elemental.
Yeah, sorry was splitting hairs. Most XP programs don't require you to run them in compatibility mode is what I was trying to say.
