It would have to check you have enough mana though. ;-) Maybe you could only select the number of enchantments of that type that would not bring your mana under 0?

I think it happens when you get beaten in a battle, quitting to main menu and starting a new game causes opponents to get free traits (you can see them when you click on the opponents in the list). But it doesn't seem to happen when you just quit to menu after the game is started (for example, due to a poor starting position). To fix the bug, you need to quit out of the game entirely and then start it up again. Btw: maybe it happens to all premade factions/sovs?

Reply to Beta 4 start? in FE Beta

Frogboy said a while back that he was pushing for a Beta 5 series, but that it was up to Derek to make the call. I hope they do go through a Beta 5 series, that could change the game from excellent to classic (or epic ;-)).

A hash is a code that is unique to one complete file. So when lots of people download the same setup file, or the same patch file, the hash will always be the same for a unique file provided there is no file corruption.

Sometimes you can edit existing Henchmen to get the ones you want (a bit like how you can edit pioneers). It just depends whether you can change the perks (sometimes you need to quit and restart the program for them to be able to be changed).

I wrote Reply #7 before the reply in the other thread, so I would say I agree with you. "These special units seek out every heroic race with sufficient influence" could be used as a good way to explain why the Henchmen look like Altarians, as they are a special group of Men who reach out to heroic races with influence.

Doing a different 3d model for all henchmen types for every single race might be the reason they went this way for henchman, however a possible solution could be to have Altar-style Henchmen for all races - "these special units seek out every heroic race with sufficient influence" or somesuch. With Juggernauts, even though they look like extra-ugly Trogs, I don't see why it would require a Trog blood type pre-requisite, as theoretically any race could breed monsters - but

I think the growth spell shrinking units might be to do with not having larger animations of those mount types.

Also, it needs to be fixed so that Henchmen can be from any race. Unless the intention is that only the default Altar race can use Henchmen, which would be kind of sad. It shows up Henchmen in the Heroes tech item (in the Magic tech tree) for a custom race with the Heroic trait, just that they don't appear as selectable options to train and there is no extra Henchmen option for unit design like there is for default Altar. Please fix when you can. =) At least m
