A little privacy is better than none at all. ;-) And I think the OP mentions a scenario of "if you don't relinquish your privacy for any reason we see fit, you're going to jail". And also not every company sells or gives away your information. I strongly assert my right to have "just a little bit of privacy". =) And I think all of us want "just a little bit of privacy" until we all become telepathic. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] [e

There is so much obfuscation regarding what men and women like to the other, that it can hard to believe that they ever like something that is "non-traditional" (using a politically neutral tone of course). But just as there are women into IT and games, there are men who enjoy gardening and shopping, and it is up to individual characteristics just what attracts people to who-else, even for "non-traditional" likes. ;-) And don't get me started in a conversation about how a pe

Perfection is being at peace with oneself, and with others. Not saying I've achieved it yet for great periods of time, but it is really nice when you are one with yourself and the universe. [e classic]:)[/e]

I think there should be an option to raze an outpost or external resource (but only razeable resources would able to be razed permanently). Maybe at a cost, to reduce over-use of this feature. Or maybe it just takes 2-3 turns to raze? Speaking of this, I think razing a city should not be instant either.

The Government is considering the most sweeping and radical changes to Australia's surveillance and intelligence laws since the establishment of the original powers in 1979. Here are the five shocking ways your privacy is at risk: Internet providers and social networks, like Facebook and Twitter, could be forced to retain detailed logs of your activity - such as places you check-in to eat and every word of
Notice I said "seems" like the same memory leak problem, ie. it occured while/after doing the very same process in E:WoM and that I'd make a seperate bug report about it. Man, and I thought I was the only one being intentionally condescending around here... great community you guys have.
Yes, I see what you wrote now. Sorry about that. [e classic]:)[/e]

That sounds good! [e classic]:)[/e] How are external resources handled? Do they get auto-razed like before? If cities are smaller, then it will be harder to encompass resources into your city itself, so there must be some other compensations.

Anything which causes a bug or memory leak causes a bug or memory leak. Just because it might be a bug or memory leak, does not mean that it is the same reason for it, for most of the engine has been rewritten between WOM and FE and even during FE.

Could admin/s please fix the "ad being counted as a reply" post number bug? Thanks, that would be great! =) The ads didn't used to take up a reply number slot when they were in the middle of a page, so it is something that has been changed in the last few weeks that has caused it.

Quoting Captain Pat, reply 23 I'd like to see Stardock be a bit more thorough in beta testing and better at getting their releases a bit closer to being a legitimately finished product upon release. I'm not going to try and change your stance on things, but at least read what people write before saying there is n

They put out Beta 1 early, but not before a lot of work had been done since they started working on the game. Each Beta has had a specific purpose, and some minor purposes. Bug fixing and balancing have been done all the way along. I think for the first betas it has been 1. start (was there a specific goal for this beta apart from proving that they had learned the lessons of the previous game and they already had a fun game to play?), 2. champions (I think), 3. faction speci

Weren't the devs talking about having one main tile and four districts, ie. a small clump of tiles? I don't think they mentioned that there would still be buildings built in the same way as previously - I think it was one main tile and a district for each level after level 1, so 5 tiles total - a centre square plus four adjoining districts. It was also implied that they would be a separate city screen for each city too.

Currently the monsters have the first turn, then the AI players in order of side number after 1, then the human player. The monster and AI turn happen immediately. However there is also a bug that enables wolves to move their full movement on the first turn only, rather than just 1 square as happens to all monsters. There have been some suggestions put forward, including skipping the monster turn on Season 1, and making it impossible for any monster to attack in Season 1 (th

I managed to stop Guild Wars (which doesn't have a monthly subscription but you paid for each expansion and anything else you want to buy) and not get into GW2. =) I've decided that I like to be in control of the games I play, not feeling that I need to login or play a certain amount of time all the time. So now apart from FE, Wesnoth Warcraft3-style RNG mod and the odd other game (including perhaps MOO3 Chocolate Mod soon), I do not play any other games, and certainly no

This is what happened in HOMM4 - when a hero was defeated they would go to the nearest prison, and you needed to capture the city with that prison to get the powerful hero back. But a ransom would help too - maybe automatically (ie. always happen) you would always be able to buy a defeated champion back for a certain amount of diplomatic points of whatever kind (gildar, crystal, influence, horses, wargs, technology points, going to war with another player) - basically anything that can

Where is the chocolatev0.999.zip file? I can't find any active links anywhere. I just purchased MOO3 from GOG to see how it was with the chocolate mod.
