I don't know what the tone and intonation of that last post is. It sounds quite unflattering, at least reading the text.

For those inquirers, explorers and adventurers out there, read these books with an open mind and see if they resonate with your [e digicons] Or if you don't like reading try this youtube video of Out on a Limb: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2j2XFY6ZZs&feature=bf_prev&list=PL2FA6595859E90817
Do you actually have the clothes that you wear in your avatar, or was it computer created? I'm curious. =)
Yeah, but I don't think they (were allowed to?) try very hard.
I take this to mean, done too much psychodelics, is that right?
So, what do you think? [e classic]:)[/e]
It's moments like these that you feel one with the universe. [e digicons]
I didn't mind the return of this particular thread, minus the spam of course. ;-)
Oh, that means that VERY occasionally, spam can be something other than a total waste of time. ;-) [e digicons]|-)[/e] This is an interesting discussion.
As long as you have spare lives or a working spawn point you'll be fine. ;-)
I'm not so sure it's a good idea to ban people if they use adblockers on your site. I mean, is Stardock really going to suffer tremendously and not survive if people use adblockers? Hasn't happened up til now. And adblockers are everywhere these days, so that makes it a bit hard.
I don't find the ads intrusive. (I did when there were two ads per thread though!) Btw: mods, do you know when you will be able to fix the "advertisement counts as a reply number" bug? It must have been there for a month or so now, so it would be great if you could fix it sooner rather than later! [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Yeah, I think it sounds neat. =) Remember, quite often if most people agree with you, you won't get many replies. That's just the way it is. [e classic]:)[/e] In other words - please don't take it personally! ;-) [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Still, going from full HP to dead based on luck is a bit much (say if an enemy gets 5 or 6 hits in), which is why a limit of four successful hits each attack might be a good way of providing SOME luck without providing MOSTLY luck.
I don't mind Maul doing 0 (minimum) hits to 4 (maximum) hits every attack. Normally you will (or the enemy) will get 2 or 3, but having a maximum of four allows some luck without completely submitting to the luck monster. ;-)
Yeah, Stardock forums are pretty friendly generally. If you have any more questions about FE beta, feel free to ask. [e classic]:)[/e] (Btw: as far as we know, FE Beta 4 is coming out around 16 August, but that is only an estimate.)
I'm also noticing that it take a minute or two (approx.) to update a thread listing to normal rather than bold text (when you're already logged in) to show that you've read it. Also, there is the ad bug where ads take up a reply number, do the devs know when this will be fixed? Seems there's been a few forum bugs lately.
Yes, better AI would allow for much deeper and more accessible "epic" RTS games, that play a bit like TBS.
Hell yes! And that's what's likely to be happening too, according to Brad. If we start off with MP Competitive and Cooperative with tactical battles allowed (via a email notification system when people need to get together to be online, or be online for their turn), then hopefully we eventually can upload modded files and have mods available for MP too! =)
I would agree with Maul having a maximum of 4 hits each attack.
Which is probably a bug, but it helps when you can't login to the Stardock servers.
There is no way to defend against Maul except having super high hitpoints, high armor or high dodge - and even then you can still be unlucky (except if you have high armor - but it is very hard to get high armor early in the game).
And when you're ready, check out the mods and sub-mods he has made for Fallen Enchantress beta! [e classic]:)[/e]
Maybe you are onto something here! I think this is a good lead, that completing (particular?) quests could cause save corruption! Stardock, check this lead out!
Good point.
