I think it would be possible though, and well worth doing! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]k6[/e] If a tile can be made to have special stats (Kraxis Fortify) then any tile can, even if it has to be a special spell cast on all relevant tiles of the different types at the start of a combat. I for one would love if Stardock took advantage of being able to add stats (and possibly even add negative stats) to certain tiles in tactical combat! [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Are you sure you've looted all the lairs? Some of them look almost exactly like regular terrain for that wildlands. (One time it took me ages to find the last goodie hut to loot to clear the wildland.) If you have totally checked all the area and are sure there are no scarred tiles left, then that is definitely a bug and you should report it, including a savegame showing the issue.
I haven't played it, but I do know that the game requires Steam to run.
It's always nice to help, and ESPECIALLY nice to hear people are happy that you have. [e classic]:)[/e]
Hopefully Kraxis' Fortify tile command will work, and the ability to make a certain tile have certain bonus characteristics should mean it is possible to implement different terrain abilities, although I'm not sure if there will be different tile costs for moving in tactical (based on what we've heard, or not, I would say probably not).
I don't know, I think we have had some impact. Maybe not huge, but some. =)
Still, it's nice when you can get a few more years of useful life. ;-) Here is an interesting article from badscience, people reading this, why not read the entire article and all the comments and make up your own mind? Also, emotionally note how aggressive and belligerent almost all negative responses are, and arguably, how reasoned and reflective the positive comments are. There is a strong correlation, I wonder if there is a causation or not? [e classic]:)[/e]
It is interesting... if they are essentially getting people to "sign" under duress the new EULA before they get back to their games, doesn't the presence of duress mean that any contract agreement is unenforceable?
Well, looks like you got your wish. We've got one new AAR at least. ;-)
I'm very much looking forward to this next Beta!
The main games I play at the moment are FE beta, Battle for Wesnoth, and a little of some H2 and H3 mods or total conversions. FE Beta is getting to be so good, that I don't need to have many other games to keep me occupied.
Yes, I would certainly agree with waiting to see if you get all the features you need. Everyone needs to make their own decisions on whether to buy a product! :)
I am sorry to hear that. I keep an open mind, and haven't resorted to namecalling. What fundamentally sound, logical, and most importantly, fundamentally unbiased site do you recommend instead?
My last post on this subject. I leave it for any other readers to make up their own minds. I made a reasonable post, about a web-site I recommended, and Heavenfall implied I was no better than a nigerian scammer. I was not looking for an argument, only to post about a web-site I would recommend with useful information. I'll let each person who reads make up their own mind, just like I did.
So have you read the site and made up your own mind? Tested the sources? If you have I can talk to you about changing my point of view. As I said, I am open-minded. Whenever I get new information, I consider it against what I already know, then I make changes if necessary. I will change my beliefs if you can rationally prove the information on the web-site wrong. But if you haven't actually tested the sources of the web-site, how do I
I don't consider this a political issue, I consider this a health information issue. Now: Rule No. 1, never trust Wikipedia on any matter that can be considered political by others. Do you know how much a threat any alternative to conventional medicine
http://www.extraordinarymedicine.org If you are interested in your health, this web-site has much useful information and excellent references and sources. Why not check it out? I was pleasantly surprised! [e classic]:)[/e]
I find a little odd how somehow you know that 100% of the reason that 100% of the people who are complaining about Windows 8 is what you think it is. How often does 100% of ANY population EVER agree on one thing or do a particular thing for the same reason? None, unless your population is very small. The truth is, Microsoft has provided a massive virtually compulsory change to Windows without much warning or discussion, and it is a FACT that this level of change will cause p
I like the idea of chance to hit halving after each successful hit. (And obviously, if you have say 120 chance to hit, second chance to hit would be 60 etc, so there is some advantage with having an accuracy advantage over 100.)

No, I'm not.
Okay, what's your suggestion for countering Maul? Right now the only ways feasible, is casting Blindness (mostly from the Darkling Cloak, or being Empire with Death Disciple), or having very high dodge or armor, both of which is not feasible in the early game where bears are common, and make it really easy with high accuracy to smash everyone when you get a Maul weapon. I get the feeling the reason people don't want to change Maul is that they want to regularly get 10 or m
Currently there is a huge amount of luck involved with Maul, with both enemy creatures and when a hero gets a weapon with Maul. There is a big difference between getting 4 hits, or 8 or 12, and all of the extra hits are the result of extreme luck which cannot be planned for. And I don't think "bring overwhelming force" is a good reasoning, the game needs to have more counters the more powerful a certain ability is, whether in the hands of a monster or a player. I sugge
I support MP alot, but hope they won't base the game mechanisms on MP but a good SP game. If I kow the Frog correctly they will make it a grand SP game and then hopefully transform the same game experience to MP. I'd rather look at it this way in a potential MP game: Be extra cautious before you involve yourself in battles with uncertain results, so it won't cripple your start.
Yes, but
I don't reload, but I still agree that Maul might be better with a little less luck. I agree that playing without reloading is more fun, and that one way of defeating bears is making sure that you are overwhelming powerful, but I kinda think that a max limit on hits would be useful to prevent the times when a bear gets 7 or 8 hits in and brings you down from 50 or 60 hitpoints to zero in one attack. Also, it will become even more important for MP, when games could be totally
