If I was to join a Stardock guild, I would want a different name. And I do plan on joining a guild.

How about giving standard Sovs an extra stat point? So if they are currently using 7 points plus one negative trait (for a total of 6 points), why not ditch the negative trait and give them 7 full points? I think this would give them an edge without making them OP. There's a fine line between making the standard factions powerful enough and making them too powerful. I think giving each standard Sov an extra stat point would be a good workable solution.
I think sometimes you need to start the game up a few times before you can log in currently.
Why can't you rename the remainder of the empire "Remnants of ...." and they are defeated when all their cities are taken over? It's one thing to have the cities disappear. It's quite another thing that the Sovereign will kill all the rest of his people AND raze their cities to the ground.
Yes, it is often better to boost other less powerful things than to nerf more powerful things - as long as the most powerful things aren't already game-breaking.
Would it be possible to have an inventory screen when you upgrade and you could choose to upgrade to any in the same class of weapon/elemental damage etc. and be able to single or mass upgrade the one piece of armor?
Okay, I'll delete that from this thread.
I like these suggestions for mage gear. FE DESPERATELY NEEDS GOOD MAGE GEAR! Ah, now I've got that out of my system, here are the suggestions from Stupidity10: [quote]Staff of Inner Flame: +1 fire shard for champions spell calculations. Clerics Staff: +20% healing and allows you to cast heal once per combat free. Sorcerers Cown: +2 temporary spell mastery for every spell cast in combat Magi Cloak: Absorbs 25% mana cost of spells directe
Certainly. Fifthed! [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Well, for starters, the world quests are somewhat random - and if the people around let a town get taken over there will instead be a fortified centaur camp or ghost infestation. And the World vs World (which has three roughly equal servers battling it out where even the lowest level can help out). But as to the finer points (as I've only played a little at the moment) what do other people think?
When I changed my password, I changed the shortcut for FE which included the new name and password combination, then after I successfully started it up once, I removed the extra stuff and it still worked. Worth a try. =)
Speak n' Spell Word games?
Also the AI will need to learn it. I think it might be better if outposts were relatively cheap (except perhaps for OP Consulates - but then Seanw3's mod makes it more reasonable) while city-building pioneers were relatively expensive. Also, please change the AI so it doesn't spam pioneers anyway, which is probably necessary even if the pioneer mechanic isn't changed. =)
Yes, we want the monkey to sing on a banjo for the frog! [e digicons]|-)[/e] [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] (And no, I'm not sure whether it is in fact a monkey and what's being played is a banjo - probably a guitar at second thought - but banjo sounds cool so I'll leave that in. :P) PS: Since I thought mastroego's question was a good one I decided to be proactive and ask it. Hopefully a lot of positive stuff will come from the seed of this goodwill. =)
Wouldn't scoffing with a mouth full of soap be quite painful? Oh well, no more so than having a mouth full of soap I guess. ;-) Anyway, no offense meant, when I looked at your avatar and read that you would be scoffing, my initial thought was, "Ouch!" :) No, I couldn't really afford a totally new computer, even if it was a really good price. But I'm sure there will be someone who will buy it from you! [e digicons][/e] PS: I enjoy readin
You can only edit existing henchmen. Sometimes you need to restart the game (save, exit, reload) to be able to change traits though.
Although on the plus side, if you lose life shards you don't lose regeneration either. ;) Still, not very useful and the bug needs to be fixed. Plus, why not add an ability to come back from the dead at no cost, provided you win or the opposition escapes?
Then Stardock should change the game so that Ctrl-N doesn't do anything after turn 1 (and of course this would need to be made obvious to the players).
I vote for Stardock to use Sean's suggestions, and the more balanced level up, and hub bonuses in Reply 14! [e digicons][/e]
Some Sovereign traits only apply if your Sov (and your Race) is of a certain Blood trait.
Frogboy or the devs can edit this if they want, but I thought mastroego's question was a good one. Have you been able to get through at least one full game without game-ending crashes, bugs or save corruption? If so what map size and other game characteristics?
As well as making the Master Quest more spread out over the map and more challenging in battle too, how about adding special AI diplomacy for relating to the human player trying to complete the Master Quest?
Also I would strongly recommend you have a look at Heavenfall's Reliquary and use ideas like his for boosting the number and variety of magical items. After all this is Elemental, we need lots of MAGIC and lots of MAGIC ITEMS. [e digicons]|-)[/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
I think you mean "now" rather than "not". =)
Great stuff! Will this be in Sov Creation as well? That would be fantastic!
